It is a decent college for a degree.
Placements: Placement scenario is decent, with salary packages ranging from 18 LPA (the highest) to 2.5-3 LPA (the lowest). Regular recruiters like TCS and Wipro are a plus. However, there's scope for improvement in terms of attracting more companies and better opportunities. Economic stability plays a significant role in placement prospects, so fingers crossed.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is a work in progress, with ongoing renovation aimed at enhancing facilities. The hostel, priced at Rs 90,000 per year, offers decent accommodation with clean rooms and robust safety measures. However, the food quality is mediocre, and the strict curfew, especially for female students (8:00 PM), might feel restrictive.
Faculty: Academic experience is a mixed bag, with faculty members comprising both enthusiastic and different instructors. Syllabus coverage is moderate, with around 60-70% of the material being taught in class. However, students are expected to take significant initiative, completing the remaining syllabus on their own and participating in group presentations. Self-motivation and discipline are essential to succeed here.

Satisfied because of faculty, dissatisfied because of campus life and infrastructure.
Placements: I'm from the ECE branch, and according to my POV and the information I've got from my seniors, the placements are okay but not so impressive because the number of core companies that visit here is less. So, in the end, you have to get into some IT job.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good but not very impressive. But especially this year, in 2024, they have made a lot of changes, like building a sports complex, and renovations are happening in the entrance area. So, the infrastructure is developing, which is a really good thing.
Faculty: The faculty is actually very good. The teachers are very professional and highly knowledgeable. But due to autonomy, they can give test notices in a short span, which is a bit hectic for the students to prepare for the exam. That's the drawback here. Everything else is fine.
Other: If you are from KCET, it's absolutely worth it, but from management or COMEDK, you have better options. Personally, it's good if you have no option, but the campus life is average.

Relevant curriculum, good placements, supportive faculty, and a memorable college experience.
Placements: Around 85% of students from my batch got placed. The highest package is around 10 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average package stood at 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and Capgemini. Some students also received internship offers from reputed startups. The most common roles offered are software developer, analyst, and QA engineer.
Infrastructure: The college has basic infrastructure with decent classrooms, a functioning library, and Wi-Fi access in certain areas. Labs are equipped but sometimes outdated. Hostel facilities are average, and the mess food is manageable. Upma and price items are regular. Sports and medical facilities are limited.
Faculty: The faculty in my college is well-qualified, experienced, and supportive. They explain concepts clearly and are approachable for doubts. The curriculum is updated and relevant to current industry needs. Semester exams are moderately tough, and the average pass percentage is around 90%. With regular study and attendance, students can easily perform well.

Overall the college life is worth for Rs 51,400.
Placements: Around 50% of students got placed in the college campus selection. The highest package in the college is 19 LPA. The average package is 7 LPA. The lowest package is 3.5 LPA. All of the students are doing their internships.
Infrastructure: The facilities in the college are as follows there is a free Wi-Fi-enabled campus, and the Wi-Fi range of 5 GHz. There are well-known clean and modern labs with new equipment. There is a well-maintained library and digital library with free Wi-Fi.
Faculty: Teachers are so helpful and supportive with the extra motivation class. The teaching quality of the teachers is excellent with experience of above 20 years each. This course curriculum is relevant. Teachers are making the students understand the subjects with respect to the industry experts.
Other: I have chosen this course because of the option that we can join an IT firm and core firm with a lot of benefits.

I got 49,283 rank in KCET for engineering. Can I get admission in this college?

Since according to last year's cutoffs, you can get into Telecommunication and Industrial Management and hardly mechanical engineering with OBC and your given rank through KCET. Since the cutoff has not fallen down much for KCET, I suggest you to go for other colleges. Best of luck.
