Heritage offers great placements, helpful faculty, good infrastructure, and decent campus life.
Placements: Around 85-90% of students from my batch got placed, especially in the CSE, IT, and ECE departments. The highest package offered is 40 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, IBM, and Amazon. About 70-80% of students got internships during their course, mostly in service-based companies like TCS, Capgemini, and Wipro. Common roles offered include software developer, analyst, data engineer, system associate, etc.
Infrastructure: The college provides strong infrastructure with high-speed Wi-Fi, air-conditioned libraries, well-equipped labs, modern classrooms, and dedicated project rooms. Labs are regularly maintained and include updated systems and equipment. Hostel facilities are available, especially for girls, and boys can opt for nearby PGs. The mess food is average but hygienic. There are multiple canteens on the campus. The campus is clean and green with facilities for indoor and outdoor sports, a medical room, and regular maintenance.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified. Many of them are PhD holders and have years of teaching experience. They are approachable and helpful. The course curriculum is regularly updated and aligned with industry needs, especially in fields like AI, ML, and cloud computing. Semester exams are moderately difficult but manageable with regular study. The pass percentage is high for students who attend classes and study consistently.

Inside of the Heritage Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placements this year are not that good. The average package offered is around 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Even mass recruiters are not coming to conduct placements on our campus. Although placements this year are slightly better than previous year. Internships are not readily available. However off-campus, there are opportunities. But almost 95% of students are getting placed into companies at the end of the 4th year.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is better than most private colleges in Kolkata. Labs are all air-conditioned. Some classes also contain centralized cooling systems. Campus is well decorated. However, hostel facilities are offered to female students only. There are no provisions offered to male candidates. The locality is slightly away from the city crowd.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful most time. It's easy to score good marks in semester exams. However now-a-days, attendance criteria is taken into consideration for some departments. The syllabus is not that relevant and upto date meeting industry standards.
Other: I got into information technology. There is a lot to explore in this particular domain. One can get exposure to every aspect of computer science in this domain. Although practical teaching should be normalised and prioritised more. Only theory cannot make us industry-ready. Our college hasn't conducted any fest for 5 years. However, regular workshops are being conducted in our college.

Good but little overrated.
Placements: 90% of students get placed each year on average. The highest always being around 14 LPA whereas the lowest salary varies from 2 LPA - 3 LPA. The average salary ranges between 4 LPA - 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, etc., mostly in the sales department now-a-days. Most of them got internships but not always offered by college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is below average. Sometimes computer gets stuck, mouse doesn't work, and many other problems occur. Wi-Fi speed is just okay. Labs are well-maintained. Classrooms don't have AC. We don't have any hostel for boys here for girls its there. For boys, you will get PGs, flats, and private hostels in nearby auto distance.
Faculty: Faculty members are okay. Some of them understand our problems and some of them do not. Exams are conducted in a strict manner and well-structured schedule. The course is totally relevant and helpful for internships. Semester exams are a little tough to crack but easy to score if you study its PYQs well.
Other: It's a good private college in terms of return on investment so if you don't get any tier 1-2 or any good government. College you can opt for this.

Overall review of Heritage Institute Of Technology .
Placements: The placement of Heritage Institute of Technology is overall good. TCS is the mass recruiter of our college. The overall placement rate for this college is approximately 80%, along with an average package of 4-5 LPA. For top branches like CSE, IT, ECE, and sub-branches of CSE, the overall placement rate is approximately 90% and above, along with a 6-7 LPA average package.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for this college is quite good. Wi-Fi routers are present on each floor of this college and they are freely accessible for the students. In this college, we have a central library where students can study and spend their leisure time. There are also two canteen: one is the main canteen and the other is the labor canteen. The food quality for both canteens is decent.
Faculty: For me, most of the faculty members are great and supportive, and they also help in giving notes for the exams along with the PYQs. However, some of the faculty members are not that cooperative. The examination pattern and the syllabus are quite well-structured and make it easy for every student to score decent marks at the end semester.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of teachers and burden of assignments but good infrastructure.
Placements: About 70% of students from my department have been placed this year. The highest package providing company gives upto 15 LPA, and the lowest gives a minimum of 4 LPA. The average package is up to 6 LPA. Top recruiting company is TCS and they are the mass recruiters.
Infrastructure: As we consider the infrastructure of our college then I must say it gives a good vibe, big, and beautiful campus. There are many grounds for playing sports. They provide Wi-Fi on the whole campus and hostel. The labs come with AC. The quality of food provided in the hostel is average. The canteen provides better food.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified but only some of the teachers are helpful. They coordinate with the students. The overall course and curriculum make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very much tough, they are moderate because students pay attention in class.
Other: I chose this course because I didn't get the CSE branch so I have to choose this branch against my will. But the course is very much similar to the CSE but not as tough as that. For the last 5 years, no event or fest took place. The crowd is big on the campus.

OBC rank is not applicable in Heritage Institute of Technology. So you have to take admission with the general rank. With this rank, you will not get any branches in Heritage.
