Review of IIT Guwahati - Indian Institute of Technology.

Placements: Employment after graduation was hard. You can grab a good salary package after completing masters. Internships were also offered in biotech companies or pharma companies. From the 5th semester onwards, we were eligible for campus placements. Around 75% of students got placed in biotech companies. Few students were also selected by Deloitte.

Infrastructure: Hostels were available on our campus but were not huge. The food served in the mess was good. They served food twice a day. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals were available. Wi-Fi was also decent.

Faculty: Faculty members were good, and they guide us properly towards our goals. The teaching method was good. Semester exams were conducted after every 6 months. The difficulty level of exams was moderate. If students study properly then they can easily score good marks.

Other: I chose this course because it provided a broad spectrum that connects biology with technology. This field gives us a chance to come up with new ideas and become an entrepreneur.

A journey of uncertainty.

Placements: In my course 5% are placed till now. The lowest package is 6 LPA and the highest is 9 LPA. Deloitte offered 9 LPA which is the highest in our course till now. I am in second year so in our batch no one applied for internship. Top role offered was in non core that is data analyst in Deloitte.

Infrastructure: We have good infrastructure and Wi-Fi is available in labs and classroom. Campus have serene environment having lakes and full of greenery. Library is best place to have calm environment to study and pace. Hostel food quality is average. Sports and games, medical facilities are satisfactory.

Faculty: Yes teachers are qualified knowledgeable and approachable. Good laboratories to carry on experiments. Teaching quality is above average. Semester examination are good and we have relatively marking. Faculty members are punctual and they conduct regular classes. Pass percentage is 100%.. .

Other: I chose this course because of my subject of interest. If will be beneficial if they introduce some industry based subjects so that students are ready for job. Events and fest are very good. Extracurricular facilities are also very good. There are some merit based scholarships.
