IIT Kharagpur Courses & Fees 2026: UG, PG, Doctorate, Certificate Courses

At the undergraduate level, IITKGP offers four and five-year BTech, BSc. Five-year BArch and various other courses to students. At the postgraduate level, the IIT Kharagpur offers two and six-year MTech, MSc And various other courses to students. IIT Kharagpur also provides PhD and Continuing Education courses to students. IIT Kharagpur offers a four-year BSc course along with a five-year Integrated MSc course across six specialisations each. Those willing to pursue a postgraduate integrated course can take admission in BSc-MSc Integrated, criteria and admission process of which is same as that of BSc. Admission to both these programmes is based on JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores followed by JoSAA counselling. Hostels at IIT Kharagpur are furnished with beds, tables, chairs, high-speed LAN ports, fans, lights and adequate electricity ports. The quantity of the aforementioned things may vary depending upon the occupancy of the room whether it’s single room, double sharing or triple occupancy sharing.

Also, some halls (hostel is referred to as hall of residence at IIT Kharagpur and hostellers as boarders) have washing machine facilities and some don’t. Laundry service is available at a reasonable price.

The cutoff gets released for various All India categories in the form of ranks. The IIT Kharagpur cutoff 2026 has been released for round 1 for admission to the MSc course. Different categories have different cutoffs.

For eg, for the General AI category, the overall cutoff from round 1 to the third round ranged from 97 to 713. For the OBC AI category, the cutoffs from round 1 to round 3 varied between 184 and 1162.
