IIT Madras MTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
IIT Madras offers an MTech course at the postgraduate level in a full-time mode. The duration of this programme is two years. The institute offers 26 MTech specialisations along with three interdisciplinary specialisations for BE/ BTech graduates across 13 departments. Some of these specialisations include, MTech in Computer Science and Engineering, MTech in Biomedical Engineering, MTech in Aerospace Engineering, etc.
IIT Madras MTech admission 2025 is based on a valid GATE score obtained by eligible candidates. The seat allotment process is then carried out through COAP Counselling. Based on the GATE score, the merit list is prepared by the board and then seats are offered based on the availability of seats at the institute. On acceptance of the seats through the COAP portal, candidates can reserve their seats by paying admission fees to the institute. Given below is the IIT Madras MTech eligibility criteria:
