The eligibility criteria for M.Tech programmes at IIT Mandi and IIT Roorkee are similar in many aspects. Both require candidates to have a B.Tech or B.E degree in a relevant field, with a minimum qualifying percentage of 60% or 6.5 CGPA (out of 10) or equivalent for general and OBC candidates, and 55% or 6.0 CGPA (out of 10) or equivalent for SC/ST and PwD candidates. Students are required to apply for both JEE Main and JEE Advanced for admission to IIT Roorkee BTech. The aspirants must fill out the application form for JEE (Main) through the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) (nta.ac.in). The application fee for boys is INR 625 and INR 325 for girls. Followed by JEE Main, students are required to register for JEE Advanced. For this, candidates have to first login with their JEE Main application number and password. Next, candidates have to fill in the registration form, upload scanned certificates, and pay the application fee.

DOMS IIT Roorkee offers tuition fee waiver to students pursuing a course from the institute. Below is the criteria to avail the fee waiver:

Full Tuition Fee Waiver– It is offered to the most economically backward students having a family income of less than INR 1 LPA during the previous financial year or current assessment year.

2/3 Tuition Fee Waiver– It is available to economically backward students having a family income in the range of INR 1 LPA to INR 5 LPA during the previous financial year or current assessment year

DOMS IIT Roorkee offers postgraduate and PhD programmes in Management. The institute offers a two-year residential MBA programme in the specialisations including Marketing, Finance, Information Systems, Operations, Human Resource Management, etc.  Candidates scoring above the minimum qualifying CAT cutoff percentile are considered for subsequent selection stages for admission to its flagship MBA programme.

Candidates can pay the application fee for DOMS IIT Roorkee via net banking, credit or debit card. Candidates need to pay an application fee of INR 1,600 (INR 800 for SC/ ST/ PD) for MBA course.
