Other than this, PG (MTech and MSc) students received average package of INR 11.98 LPA in 2025 and the placement rate was 39.6%. IIT Ropar has recieved 4.5 rating in value for money. Hence, the ROI of this college is quite good. With increasing admission intake at IIT Ropar, there is no change in the quality of education provided by the college. Outstation or not, IIT Ropar offers equal placement assistance to students.
