1: Manipal Institute of Technology BTech Application Process 2025

The application to Manipal Institute of Technology for BTech is online. The application fee for the BTech programme is INR 600. Students can check the steps below to know the step-wise application process for 2025:

1.2: Go to the admission tab.

1.3: Click on “Apply for Admission”.

1.4: Register with basic details to get application credentials.

2: Shortlisting Process

After the application process, candidates are shortlisted based on the entrance exam score. Candidates must meet the academic eligibility criteria before applying. Candidates' performance in their most recent qualifying entrance examination is considered during selection. The shortlisted candidates are notified via email.

3: Fee Payment & Admission Confirmation
Shortlisted candidates must confirm their admission by submitting all required documents and paying the BCom programme fee of INR 6.1 Lakh to INR 13.7 Lakh. Admission is finalised only after successful fee payment, which secures the student’s seat in the programme.

The MIT BTech scholarship is provided based on the student's financial needs and performance in academics. MAHE Manipal offers Freeship, Scholar and Achiever scholarships to meritorious students admitted to the Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programme. The candidate should get 80 % aggregate of Mathematics + Physics + Optional subject (as per selection criteria) in Class 12 from the recognised Board. Aspirants should meet the minimum 8 CGPA & above, with no backlogs in Semester 1 of the BTech programme. Freeship & Scholar category Scholarships put together constitute 5 % of the GENERAL category intake for each branch and are applicable for the entire program duration, starting 1st year of the programme. The Achievers category constitutes 5 % of the general category intake for each branch and is applicable at the beginning of the second, third, and fourth year based on the annual academic performance of the immediate previous year i.e. 1st year, 2nd year and 3rd year. There will be NO scholarship based on the performance in the final year.
