It is a good campus with good faculty and good labs.

Placements: Around 55.55% of students got placed form our college. The highest salary package offered was around 9 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was 6.5 LPA. GE and Collins Aerospace are the reputed organisations which offer placements. Roles of the design engineer and reliability engineer are offered. The highest salary package offered in our course was 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered in our course was 6 LPA. The average salary offered in our course was 7 LPA. The internship was not offered here to any student from our department.

Infrastructure: The college has a high voltage lab which has the facility to generate a maximum of 100KV of all AC, DC and impulse voltage. It also consists of the impedance spectroscopy. It also has the facility to make polymeric insulator samples. Hostel rooms were good. Rooms are available with two students accommodating in the same place.

Faculty: Teachers here are extremely helpful and supportive. They are qualified with PhD degrees from the most famous organisations of the country (IISc and IITs). The course curriculum for high voltage engineering department is one of the well established and well procured from knowledge and experience point of view.

Other: Interest for the subject was the driving force for me to choose this subject. If you are interested in this subject and your scores are not up to the mark in GATE, then this is the place you should fit in. Internship opportunities would give more practical exposure to students. Ragam and Tathva are the cultural and technical fest, respectively and do not require any introduction.
