NIT Calicut MTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
National Institute of Technology (NIT), Calicut MTech course is offered under its constituent schools. The duration of this postgraduate course is two years, and the mode of education is full-time. NIT Calicut MTech admission is entrance exam-based. The institute offers MTech in Structural Engineering, Offshore Structures, Machine Design, Power Electronics, etc. Candidates are admitted to the MTech course at NIT Calicut through GATE followed by CCMT counselling.

The institute offers two UG courses, five PG courses, and one doctoral course. The offered courses by NIT Calicut are as namely BTech, BArch, MTech, MSc, MBA, MPlan, MCA, and PhD.

NIT Calicut MTech Admission 2025: How to Apply?
NIT Calicut MTech course admission is based on the entrance exam. Candidates with a valid GATE score are eligible for the MTech programme. NIT Calicut admissions is a multi-step process. Below are the steps to apply for GATE :-
1. Go to this link. (gate.iitk.ac.in)
2. Enter the required details.
3. Upload the passport-size photograph, signature, and other documents.
4. Payment of the application fees through net banking/ debit/ credit card.
5.: Read and accept the declaration statement.
6. Submit the application form.
For applying for the MTech course,candidates must go to the official website of the institute. For OP/ EWS/ OBC/ PwD category the application fee is INR 1,000, while for the SC/ ST categories it is INR 500. This is payable through Net Banking/ Credit Card/ SBI Challan (by cash) through State Bank Collect (online). Below are the steps of application for MTech at NIT Calicut:-

NIT Calicut admissions are entirely entrance-based for all its UG & PG courses. Candidates are shortlisted based on their past academic records along with their scores in the respective entrance exams accepted for different courses.
