NIT Delhi admission 2025 starts with the registration process for JEE Main January session. Admission to NIT Delhi is subject to various national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main and GATE. As per the IIIT Allahabad cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 5924 and 9558, among which Information Technology was the most competitive specialisation. NIT Delhi offers two-year M.Tech programmes with the following specializations: Analytics in Computer Science and Engineering, Power Electronics and Drives in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, VLSI in Electronics and Communication Engineering, and CAD/CAM in Mechanical Engineering. Students are admitted based on their GATE scores and through the CCMT counseling process. Each programme offers 15 regular seats and 2 seats for DASA students.
For NIT Delhi M.Tech admissions, GATE scores are a must. For candidates who wish to apply for the course through the centralised d CCMT (Centralized Counseling for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan.) process., NIT Delhi follows the rules and regulations of the CCMT admission process that requires a valid score in the GATE entrance examination for admission in regular M.Tech PG programme.
