Pros and cons of the college.
Placements: Various scopes of opportunities are available for the course, while most of them are core recruiters. Most of the electronics-oriented core companies like Cisco Systems, LG Electronics Ltd, and Hero Electric are among the active recruiters from the college, with packages going up to 6.7 LPA.
Infrastructure: College has secured good rankings and recognition from various top organisations. To relax and chill, various activities are performed in the college, some of which include dedicated rooms, fitness centres, and badminton courts. Hostel zones were peaceful but highly restrictive.
Faculty: Professors have good experience with Certificates of Excellence in the profession of teaching, while assistant professors have a little bit of experience but provide good guidance to the students till the completion of the course. Also, they are learning technical skills from the professors, just like the students.

I am satisfied with this college because of the college facilities.
Placements: Since I am in my first year currently, I cannot provide much information regarding the placements. I have heard some news regarding 4th-year students getting an average of 7 LPA in branches like CSE and ECE. The best placement I have heard here is of EIE. Our college has provided good placements in 2023.
Infrastructure: We have got Wi-Fi in our hostels and admin buildings but the network connectivity is very bad overall around our college. We have got about 4-5 labs for first-year students which consist of physics lab, chemistry lab, etc. Few concrete classrooms with fans and about 5 bamboo classrooms with fans. A small library with a seating capacity of about 20 students but the availability of books is good. The food served in the mess is good.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable. Their teaching skills need to be worked on. The course taught in regular classes is good but only in a few subjects we are taught up to GATE level otherwise almost all subjects are taught at a very basic level. Semester exams are kept very easy here. Students studying the last day before exams are scoring 9 pointers.

Master of Science in Physics at Nagaland.
Placements: Well, considering records of placements, it graphically changed over the years. But the training for placements was consistently given by the top trainers, which helped to enhance our knowledge with incredible efficiency. Most students got placed in core companies, with the highest pay being 15.4 LPA last year.
Infrastructure: The campus area was hygienic, with all facilities looked at by students to pursue their courses. Student safety was a priority for the management over other activities. Transportation on the college campus was very good. All the necessary safety measures were initiated in the college
Faculty: Academic excellence was superb, but teachers focused more on their teaching. A few students were disappointed with their teaching. Most teachers preferred to take classes using the SMART board and avoided using blackboards. Some of them simply read the textbooks and moved on.

I am satisfied with my college.
Placements: 50 to 60% of students are placed this year. The highest salary is approximately 14 LPA, the average package is between 5-6 LPA, and the lowest package is 4.22 LPA. The top recruiting companies are L and T Engineering and Construction, IBM, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra. The majority of students take internships at Power Grid in Dimapur and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited. 40% of students go for internships. Roles offered for Mechanical Engineering is in manufacturing, design, research, and technology management.
Infrastructure: There is a separate lab workshop for mechanical engineering students. Wi-Fi connections are good on campus. Labs are well-functioning. We have 6 bamboo classrooms and many buildings. Classrooms are quite good for studying. We have a library where we can take books for studies. Most of the time, books are available for us. We have a good supply of electricity, but sometimes you can face electricity problems. The mess and canteen are average. We have a sports ground.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most of them are good at teaching and provide quality education. As we know, our syllabus is not advanced according to industry standards, they will provide what they have, but you also need to put in efforts from your side. The difficulty level of exams is moderate. If you study, you will pass easily. If you start preparing one week before the exam, you will easily get good marks. 60% of the people pass easily. Most of faculty members are supportive and help with each work. The nature of our teachers is quite good.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in machines since childhood. This course makes it easier for me to understand about design of machines and many more. The best thing about my course is that I recently won a Robo GP competition where we made a car and competed with other participants. At least one event or fest is done in a month. The campus crowd is not so much. Connectivity is too good for us. Many extracurricular activities are done like fests and healthy competitions between branches, like sports, dance, and others.

Review of NIT Nagaland Engineering College.
Placements: Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) department at NIT Nagaland has shown a steady placement record in recent years. In the 2022-2023 placement season, 14.08% of ECE students secure job offers. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA, while the average package offered was 5 LPA. Top recruiting leading companies that hire ECE graduates include Infosys, Tech Mahindra, L&T Construction, IBM, ICT Services, and Technology Adoption.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not bad, but it is decent. I like it, but there isn't a high-quality playground for students to play on. They also have restrictions on the Wi-Fi. Hostels are not well managed, and the mess food is decent for non-vegetarians, but pure vegetarians will only get paneer.
Faculty: Exams are too easy, you can easily pass them. Teachers are very good, and most of them are from the north and south side, so you can easily understand them in any language. But, you also have to do self-study to get a pass. Teachers here are very helpful and qualified.
