NIT Puducherry MTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
NIT Puducherry MTech is a postgraduate course offered by many departments. Through this full-time programme, the institute offers various specialisations, including Power Electronics, Computer Science, Design Engineering, VLSI Design and others. All of these courses are offered for a duration of two years. Other than this, the institute also offers an MTech Research course for students who wish to pursue a research-intensive course.
NIT Puducherry MTech admissions are carried out based on performance in the GATE exam followed by CCMT counselling. For vacant seats, the institute conducts a written test followed by an interview session. Moreover, admission is only possible when candidates meet the eligibility criteria:
- Eligibility: BE/BTech degree in a relevant discipline with a 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% aggregate for Gen/Gen-EWS/OBC, whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% aggregate for SC/ST/PwD candidates
