NIT Raipur admission 2026 to most of the courses is conducted on the basis of valid national-level entrance exam scores. The institute accepts JEE Main score for BTech. Admission to M.Tech is through GATE scores, followed by CCMT Counselling. Similarly for MSc admission,  IIT JAM and CCMN Counselling are required.

NIT Raipur BTech fee is INR 5 lakh. Mentioned tuition fee is for candidates with an annual family income above 5 lakhs. The tuition fee is calculated on the basis of 1st year. A. NIT Raipur BTech admission 2024 is based on candidates' performance in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Based on the entrance test scores, candidates will be called for the JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counselling. To be eligible for the BTech programme the aspiring candidates need to have 75% in class 12.

The National Institute of Technology Raipur offers a list of courses in the streams of Engineering, Science and Computer Application and Humanities & Social Sciences. At the undergraduate level, NIT Raipur offers BTech and BArch courses. The institute offers MTech, MSc and MCA courses at the postgraduate level. GATE CCMT R1 has been released for admission to the M.Tech courses. Candidates seeking admission to the NIT Raipur M.Tech course must secure a rank between 353 and 438 under the first cutoff list for the General category students. Specialisation-wise Round 1 cutoffs are given below for NIT Raipur:  

The required GATE scores vary depending on which branch you want and which category, and which round. NIT Raipur GATE cutoff 2025 for the General AI category, All India quota ranges from 354 to 590 across all M.Tech specialisations. Students belonging to the General AI quota should aim to secure well above 354 to have a chance of getting admission to NIT Raipur.
