I am not satisfied with this college.
Placements: Around 70-80% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 16 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. The average salary pacakge offered was 4.2 LPA. The top recruiting companies were TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Mindtree, Accenture, Bosch, and many more will visit and recruit the students. There were no internships assistance in this college. Many students were exploring their own to do internships for their respective courses. Associate software engineer and design engineer were the roles offered by the top companies.
Infrastructure: This college provides good infrastructure filled with green trees and friendly environment. The infrastructure and facilities were available on the campus. In every department, classrooms were very clean and the students were very friendly. It provides a fully air-conditioned library that has a seating capacity of 136 students. It consists of 7,000 titles books. Panimalar offers hostel facilities for both other state students and home state students. The quality and quantity of food were extremely satisfactory in this college. There was no canteen in this college. For hostel students, medical OP was free. Sports and games were not given much priority to students.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful to students. They were well qualified. Most of the professors were post-graduates from local colleges under Anna University. The quality of teaching was extremely good and very knowledgeable. The course curriculum was relevant, and the sequence of the courses offered by Panimalar was good when compared to other colleges. The students coming out from Panimalar were not ready for industry because, in Panimalar, students were mostly found of theory-oriented. The campus was affiliated with Anna University so the syllabus was fully based on Anna University. The semester exams were difficult in this college. The pass percentage was 40-60%.
Other: I opted for this mechanical engineering course, because of my interest in moving bodies, and I am having a great command of physics and mechanics. The best thing about this course was that in this course, students indulge in practical learning and they can relate their subjects to the real world. In this course, I wish to improve what every subject has to teach by relating day-to-day life. At Panimalar college every year only two events were conducted for students. Fests were also very few, and it depends on the semester only. There was no external connectivity to other college students on this campus. The campus surroundings were very clean and green. It was a plastic-free zone. Home state students can avail scholarships but other state students cannot. This college will not provide any type of scholarships to students. There were no extracurricular activities on the campus.

It has a good infrastructure and qualified faculty members, and campus placements are good.
Placements: The average salary package offered is 3 LPA, and almost 80% of the students are placed. Infosys, TCS, etc., are some major recruiters. There are not many internship opportunities, and system engineers, junior engineers, and trainee engineers are some of the roles offered in campus placements.
Infrastructure: There are good labs with computers, air-conditioners, etc. The library is well-equipped with books, and the food is good. The hostel is good and cosy. Sports equipment is average. Medical facilities are very good. Both non-vegetarian and vegetarian food is available in the mess, and canteens are also available in hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in all aspects related to studies. The course curriculum is well-designed, and teachers are qualified. There are some PhD holders who are helpful in research papers, projects, etc. The teaching quality is average. Semester exams are a bit more difficult than other colleges, and the pass percentage is around 90%.
Other: There are no events and fests except one or two per year, but extracurricular activities are good on the campus. All the courses are good, and there is no need for improvement. Scholarships are available for merit students.

If you want to have fun, then this college is not for you.
Placements: Placements are not good in this college. Students who don't have arrears will get selected for placements, and only a few students got good jobs in good companies. Most of them were selected as operators under NEEM scheme. Students who had been placed were not invited by companies to work. Even some students left the job because the salary offered is very less, i.e., Rs. 12,000 per month for the work.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure, classroom facilities and lab facilities are very good here. The library will be very useful as it has a lot of books, but there is no Wi-Fi facility because mobile phones are not allowed. There is no canteen, but the food served in the mess is good. Medical facilities are available.
Faculty: Teachers here are good and knowledgeable. They are friendly and make students understand the particular concept in a good manner. Study materials provided by the management will be very useful for exams. Industrial visits were good here.
Other: I wish that our college should improve placements and should be less strict.

Review of Panimalar Institute of Technology.
Placements: Our college is good, but you need to have good CGPA to get placed. Mostly IT sectors companies only visit our college for placements. Mechanical students don't get easily placed in this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not good, and our college is small. The hostel facility is available, but there are no electronics. Students get only mess food, and they cannot go out. Our college is worst than school. Mobile phones are not allowed here. Food served in the mess is not so good. Our college is better compared to other colleges. You will get unlimited food, and daily you will get non-vegetarian except on Saturday.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college have a good experience. They provide notes. Their teaching quality is poor. They provide materials, but they are of no use. Overall, they are good. Faculty members are not so professional.
Other: Our college does not organise events.

It's an excellent and top college in Tamil Nadu with experienced teachers and good placements.
Placements: The minimum of 95% of the students got placed in reputed core companies. The lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 48 LPA. Top recruiters like Amazon, Flipkart, Google, MRF, Zoho, Infosys, HCL, Wipro, etc., visit our college for placements. In our course, the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. Almost 100% of the students got internships in various companies like TVS, Ashok Leyland, Hyundai, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi enabled computers are available on the campus with high-speed. There are high-quality classrooms with projectors, and there is a robotics lab. The quality of the food served here is awesome, and dry cleaning is available. Our college has a gym and a salon shop. Every hostel block has a separate playground, TV hall and purified water.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and have good knowledge of subjects and knowledge relevant to the latest skills of the mechanical field. The course curriculum is excellent, and it makes students industry-ready. Our college offers internships and research and development.
Other: I have chosen this course as I am passionate about mechanical engineering. I learned designing, production and quality, and we gain a lot of knowledge with machines. I wish that our college should provide nano technology to us. College day and sports day are organised by our college.
