For admission to BTech, students must meet the minimum eligibility set by the institute and must appear for one among Karnataka CET, COMEDK, JEE Main or any other national-level/state-level entrance exam.

• KCET qualified applicants are required to appear in KCET counselling conducted by KEA and COMEDK qualifiers must attend the COMEDK counselling
• During the counselling, applicants are required to fill the choice of college and course
• Seats are allotted based on the choices filled and score obtained in the entrance exam
• Students also have an option to take admission directly in the second year of BTech via lateral entry

The total tuitiuon fee for the BTech programme at RV College of Engineering ranges between INR 3.3 lakh - INR 9.8 lakh. This is the total cost of tuition for the four year BTech programme and does not include the cost of mess or the hostel charges. This fee is sourced from unofficial sources and hence, is indicative. To be eligible for this programme at RV College of Engineering the aspring candidates will have to make sure they have 60% in their class 12 exam.

The RVCE Bangalore COMEDK UGCET Cutoff 2025 for B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) ranged from 480 in the first round to 975 in the last round for the students belonging to the General category under the All India quota. The annual Tuition fee for BTech offered at RV College of Engineering varies between INR 3.6 to INR 9 lakh. The difference in fees charged comes about on the basis of specialisations opted for. Apart from this fee amount, students have to pay a separate fee accounting for all other facilities provided, totalling to about INR 65,000.

You should have 60% in 12th and must appear for atleast one entrance exam like Kcet Comedk or Jee main.

Even for management seat you must appear for one of these exams but here ranking doesn't matter under this quota.

Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) Seat Allotment Results have been released up to Round 2 for RVCE admission to BE course. According to the RV College of Engineering cutoff for Round 1 in 2023, the closing ranks for all BE specialisations ranged between 242 and 17630. The most competitive specialisation has been B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering with a closing rank of 242, followed by B.E. in Information Science and Engineering with a 360 rank for the General category students. The college has not released the placement percentage for the 2025 drive. However, the number of students selected and offers made has been disclosed. As per the official report, 735 BE students were selected during the RVCE placements 2025 and the number of offers made to BE students was 826. The number of offers made and students selected in M.Tech placements 2025 was 103. Additionally, 80 offers were made to MCA students.

The minimum eligibility for BTech at RV College of Engineering is passing Class 12 with tleast 50% aggregate score. The selection criteria is entrance based with the institute accepting scores of CET,  COMEDK, JEE Main, KEA.

RVCE admission for all UG and PG courses is entrance-based. At the UG level, RV College of Engineering offers a four-year BE across 10+ specialisations.
