Review about my own college SCMS.
Placements: Placements are good for students who have no arrears in their previous semesters. The highest package is 80 lakhs per annum, and the lowest package is 30 lakhs per annum. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Infosys, Amazon, etc. Students get internships based on their performance. The top roles offered are Site Engineer, Structural Designer, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in all the labs. There is a good library for each stream and a calm and quiet atmosphere to relax. Good transportation facilities are available. The canteen atmosphere and food are also good. I am a day scholar, but I have heard a lot about the facilities in the hostel, such as clean water, good surroundings, proper rooms, and areas for washing and drying clothes.
Faculty: The faculty members of my department are excellent, which is why I chose this college as my first option. Faculty members are friendly in nature and are very helpful in both our curricular and extracurricular activities. The way of approach of the faculty is very appreciable.
Other: I chose this course as my passion. My dream was to become a civil engineer.

Civil engineering in SCMS School of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Compared to the computer science department, placement in civil engineering is less, but last year almost all students who attended the placement drive were placed on an average package of 2–2.5 lakhs per year. Companies like Ultratech, Varma Home, and Hilite Group took students. No direct internship opportunities are available at our college.
Infrastructure: All classrooms are smart classrooms and Wi-Fi is available across campus. We have a large library named the Learning Resource Center, which has all types of books and also has many journals that can be accessed. Hostel timing is very strict and GATE will close at 8.30 p.m. The quality of food in our mess is better compared to other colleges. Separate hostels are for first-year students. The college has an ambulance on campus and sick rooms. All types of sports teams are participating in the KTU championship, representing our college.
Faculty: As civil engineering in our college is one of the oldest among private colleges, faculty members are well experienced, and most of the faculty members are PhD holders. Faculty members are very helpful and knowledgeable, providing class notes for every subject. The course curriculum is enough for working in industry but it would be better if attending internships compared to other departments semester exams in civil engineering were easier and had a good pass percentage.
Other: There are mainly two events occurring in our college named Vipanchika and Igniz, which occur in even semesters. Sports occur annually, including all types of games. The campus is about 7 km from the highway so we have to travel that distance to access town.

Much satisfied with the studies and with the quality of education we get.
Placements: Almost every student gets placed in the civil department; most of the students get placed over the good companies. It is highly recommended to choose the civil department. A whole atmosphere is a good choice. There are most recruiting companies there to place you. The highest package is 1 LPA.
Infrastructure: Nice classrooms throughout the throughout the entire campus are a good choice. It is definitely recommended to choose this college for the best campus life and for the best campus selection. And the quality of the food is so good. The whole infrastructure is so well developed and has a very good sports team.
Faculty: The faculty members are so friendly. Teachers are so helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is so good. This course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are quite good, and the pass percentage is almost half of the students appearing.

It is an average private college.
Placements: It is not the best college for placements if you want to opt for a core branch like civil, mechanical or electrical. However, you can try to get placed in IT companies which visit the campus but that too a mere number. For our batch, not even a single construction company has visited the college to offer placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was good. The campus was small and had no facilities to encourage sports. There was no Wi-Fi facility on the campus, and no digital learning took place. The canteen was good and served good food at reasonable prices. Labs in the college were good and well-equipped.
Faculty: The course curriculum followed in our college was more theory-oriented and not practical based. Teachers were good but not the best. There were some teachers who were helpful and great, but the rest were new to the teaching field. Most of the Saturdays were working days, and the workload was hectic.
Other: We didn't have a good campus life.

Our college has a really good infrastructure and facilities and excellent teachers.
Placements: Placements in core companies were nill, whereas IT firms like Infosys hired about 50 students. The salary packages offered ranges from 3 LPA-3.5 LPA. Our college doesn't offer internships. There is a placement cell here, which is useful for providing information about companies.
Infrastructure: Labs are available for all branches and are well-equipped. Classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated, and there is a separate library building with efficient features. The food available in the canteen is tasty and inexpensive. Hostel rooms are spacious and neat. There were no issues regarding infrastructure in our college.
Faculty: Teachers here were qualified and helped to grasp every subject. They use boards as well as PPT to teach. Our college conducted industrial visits to us as we visited various dams as part of industrial visits and also did social works, which are part of the curriculum. The course curriculum was really useful.
Other: Fests were organised in every semester.
