UID Entrance Exam is a Design Aptitude Test (DAT) (Tier I), which is conducted in online mode. UID DAT is a written paper consisting of both multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and subjective questions. The duration of the UID exam is of three hours. There are around 26 questions and the total marks for the UID paper are 100.
Candidates who are shortlisted in UID exam have to appear next in a Situation Test and Portfolio Evaluation Round (Tier II). Candidates who perform well in all these rounds are then selected for admission to design courses offered at UID.

UID DAT will not release any draft answer key for the exam. If it does release the answer key, details will be updated here. The direct link to download the answer key will also be given on this page.
The draft will contain the answer key code for each question. Using these keys, the candidate can calculate the probable score.

The sample papers can be solved from the early stages of the exam preparation.
After completing a few topics, solve all the related questions. As you move deeper into the syllabus, there will be more questions to solve.

The UID DAT admit card will include the date and timings of the exam. It will also have the reporting time.
You need to reach the exam centre as per the reporting time. If you reach the exam center after the exam has commenced, you may not be allowed to appear in the UID DAT exam.
The Unitedworld Institute of Design (UID) will conduct the UID DAT entrance exam. The exam will be conducted online.
The scores of the exam will be considred for admission to design courses offered by the institute.

Design Aptitude is a test that is a part of most of the Design entrance exams in India. Through this test, the Design institutes examines the designing and creative ability of candidates. It includes questions related to sketching, drawing and reasoning. This test usually is the first step of any design exam. Candidates must focus on its preparations.
The candidate will have to pay the UID DAT application fee when filling out the application form. The category-wise application fee for the exam is given below.

UID DAT Format must be submitted in the following format.

- Size: Up to 15 MB
- Slides/Pages: 10 to 15
- Submissions Deadline: 24 Hours before interview time
UID DAT Situation Test will test Concept Development, Design Thinking and Material Manipulation. Candidates will be required to imagine and create a 3D composition as per the dimensions given using the material provided in the kit.
