CEED 2027 Pattern

CEED Entrance Test is conducted offline. There are two parts in the Question paper: Part A and Part B. Part A has 44 questions and Part B has 5 questions. Both parts of the exam will be held on the same day.

CEED 2027 Syllabus

IIT Bombay releases official syllabus for CEED Entrance Exam. CEED Syllabus is divided into two parts: Part A and Part B. Part A includes topics such as Design thinking, visualisation, observation, etc. Part B contains topics related to drawing and creativity.

CEED Syllabus for Part A

The CEED Syllabus for Part A is to have the following topics:

CEED exam will 3 hours long and have two parts.

The difficulty level of CEED exam has been maintained by authorities over the years. However, most design aspirants share that if difficulty level of all design entrance exams conducted for PG level courses is compared then CEED is slightly easier than NID Entrance Exam. This is primarily because the drawing questions asked in NID that are considered to be tougher than those put forth in CEED exam. Note that CEED exam is for admission to the M.Des courses offered by the eight participating colleges. Meanwhile, the NID that for the M.Des programme has three participating colleges.

Q: Does IIT Bombay recommend any books for CEED exam preparation?

IIT Bombay is the exam-conducting body for CEED . The institute, however, doesn't prescribe any study material for the exam.
