The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, a participating college of the Combined Entrance Exam of Design (CEED) has changed the selection criteria for its Master of Design course. The institute will not be conducting a design aptitude test this year. The decision is an outcome of COVID-19 outbreak and, countrywide lockdown as a precautionary measure against the spread of the disease. Earlier, IISc Bangalore would have conducted a Design Aptitude Test and Interview based on CEED 2020 or the Graduate Admission Test in Engineering (GATE) 2020 scores. But now, the selection criteria for MDes course at IISc Bangalore will be as under:
