CUSAT CAT score is calculated by using a formula. The formula is (S = 3R – 1W). Here, S is the total score, R is the total number of right answers, W is the total number of wrong answers. For example

Let, the number of right answers (R) = 180

The number of wrong answers (W) = 20

Then the score of the candidate will be calculated as

S = 3R – 1W

S = 3(180) – 1(20) {Putting the values of R = 180 and W = 20}

S = 540 – 20

S = 520

Hence, the total score of the candidate will be 520.
