IIT Roorkee Placements 2018 (Phase-I)

IIT Roorkee placements 2018 (phase-I) started on a strong note with maximum offers coming in from Microsoft. The company made total 22 job offers including three international offers, as per media reports. The company had also made nine pre-placement offers (PPOs) to IIT Roorkey students, taking its total number of job offers to 31. The highest package of the year across IITs also went to a student from IIT Roorkee where Microsoft offered a package of Rs 1.5 crore (base salary plus benefits). The highest salary in domestic that was offered to an IIT Roorkee student was Rs 47 lakh per annum.  

For IIT Roorkee placements 2018, about 139 companies had visited the college campus, as per media reports. Also, a total of 1354 students had registered for campus placements out of which 803 students had bagged the offers.
