JoSAA 2018 round 4 seat allotment results declared. Know the steps to check seat allotment results online.

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the results for JoSAA 2018 round 4 counselling on the official website. Candidates who have been waiting for the round 4 seat allotment results can now check the same by submitting the required credentials.

The announcement of counselling results by JoSAA is for the seat allotment process of JEE Main and JEE Advanced 2018 exam qualifiers.

Steps to check JoSAA 2018 round 4 counselling results

Step 1: Visit the official website josaa.nic.in

Step 2: Navigate to “Round 4; view allotment results and pay seat acceptance fee” tab”

Step 3: Submit your Roll number and Password

Step 4: Your JoSAA 2018 round 4 seat allotment results will be displayed on the screen

Step 5: Candidates satisfied with their seat allotment can make the payment of acceptance fee

During the allotment process, candidates will have three options to freeze, float or slide. Candidates should note that reporting for the seat acceptance in JoSAA 2018 round 4 seat allotment results will commence from July 13 onwards scheduled between 10 am to 5 pm.

On successful completion of Round 4 seat allotment process JoSAA will release a list of seats allocated in the fourth round and the count of seats that are yet to be allocated or were left vacant. On the basis of this, the authorities will release JoSAA 2018 round 4 seat allotment results to fill the vacant seats.

JoSAA 2018 seat allotment process is being conducted for admissions into IITs, NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs. As many as 36,000 are offered at 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 20 CFTIs. The authorities at JoSAA has released the results for Round 1 and Round 2 on June 27 and July 3 respectively. JoSAA 2018 round 3 counselling results were put on hold due by Madras High Court. An official statement on the same was also published on the homepage of the JoSAA website. The statement said “Seat allotment, document verification and acceptance of seat is in abeyance until appropriate orders passed in a writ appeal by Madras High Court on July 2 are received by IIT Kanpur”. However, the Madras High Court permitted the release of results which got declared on July 11.

Along with the round 3 results, JoSAA also released a revised counselling schedule. Reason being the delay in declaration of Round 3 counselling and seat allotment results. Check the detailed revised JoSAA 2018 counselling schedule.
