UPTAC round 2 opening and closing ranks 2026: The round 2 cutoff is expected to be out on July 24, after the seat allotment result is announced. Students will be able to check the round 2 cutoffs at uptac.samarth.edu.in. Candidates can access the round 2 cutoffs for all participating colleges in UPTAC 2026 counselling on this page. In addition to the top institutes, the opening and closing ranks for every participating college and course are available. UPTAC counselling usually has 5 rounds and 1 special round. Candidates eligible for UPTAC counselling must complete the UPTAC registration, upload their documents, undergo document verification, fill in their choices, check the allotted seats, submit their willingness, and pay the seat confirmation fee.
The last round of the UPTAC counselling is called the special round. Candidates who have confirmed their seats after last main round of the counselling process are not eligible for this round. Or, all such candidates who have been allotted seats and have paid seat acceptance fee but have not withdrawn in Stage 2 & 3 cannot appear in this round.
Fresh registration are held for the special round. Candidates have to register for using the link available on the official website of UPTAC for participating in UPTAC special counselling round.
After every round of counselling, the AKTU releases the UPTAC counselling cutoff. UPTAC counselling cutoff 2026 is released in the form of opening and closing ranks. The exam authority releases the UPTAC cutoff separately for all the courses and categories. Candidates do not require any login credentials to check UPTAC cutoff. However, candidates must fill in details like round, institute and category to check the UPTAC counselling cutoff 2026.
The UPTAC cutoff is the closing ranks of the UPTAC counselling participating colleges. AKTU will release the cutoff for all UPTAC counselling rounds at its official website after each counselling round.

Yes, students have to participate in UPTAC Counselling if they want to get admission through the government quota at SRMS IBS. The institute selects students on an entrance + counselling basis mainly. Unless applying through the management quota, counselling is required.
