AP TET Exam Pattern 2025: The APTET exam has two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2. Each paper further contains two parts- Part A and Part B. The APTET exam pattern differs for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The AP TET 2025 exam contains a total of 150 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each question carries one mark. There is no negative marking in the exam. Candidates who want to teach Classes 1 to 5 need to appear for AP TET Paper 1, and those who wish to teach Classes 6 to 8 need to appear for APTET Paper 2 and those who want to teach Classes 1 to 8 need to appear for both papers.

Note: The AP TET question paper will be bilingual, that is, the questions will be given in the English language as well as in the Language-I selected by candidates, except in the case of Sanskrit. How to Choose Language–I of APTET Paper 1?

The following languages are offered under Language-I - Telugu, Urdu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Odiya. A Candidate has to choose one of these 6 Languages under Language-I of TET. Candidates should have compulsorily studied this Language either as a medium of study or as a First Language at least up to Class X. The candidates who studied the CBSE/ICSE curriculum can choose the language they studied up to Class X.
