Note: The AP TET question paper will be bilingual, that is, the questions will be given in the English language as well as in the Language-I selected by candidates, except in the case of Sanskrit. How to Choose Language–I of APTET Paper 1?
The following languages are offered under Language-I - Telugu, Urdu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Odiya. A Candidate has to choose one of these 6 Languages under Language-I of TET. Candidates should have compulsorily studied this Language either as a medium of study or as a First Language at least up to Class X. The candidates who studied the CBSE/ICSE curriculum can choose the language they studied up to Class X.

- Language II is a separate language from the language I. Candidates can choose any one language out of the available options at the time of filing the application form. Questions in language-II focus on the elements of language, communication, and comprehension abilities.
- Questions in Mathematics and Science/Social Studies focus on the concepts of these subjects, problem-solving abilities, and understanding of teaching methods
