RRB Group D Cut off 2025: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will release RRB Group D 2025 cut off for CBT along with the result. The cut off is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to secure in order to qualify the exam and become eligible for the next round of selection process. The details regarding the cut off marks are mentioned in the RRB Group D result. The cut off of RRB Group D 2025 is released category-wise and region-wise.
RRB Group D cut off is calculated after normalising the marks of candidates. Besides the cut off, candidates are also required to secure the minimum qualifying marks. Depending on RRB Group D cutoff, candidates are selected for further rounds. Selection of candidates for each round is done based on RRB Group D vacancy. How to Check RRB Group D Cut off?
RRB Group D Cut off 2025 will be announced along with the result. RRB Group D cut off is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to secure at each stage of selection process. Candidates securing equal to or more than RRB Group D cut off are selected for the subsequent rounds of selection process. RRB Group D cut off 2025 was calculated based on the percentile-based normalisation. The steps to check RRB Group D cutoff are given below:

RRB Group D cut off is the minimum qualifying marks which candidates need to secure inorder to qualify the exam and become eligible for the next round of selection process. RRB Group D cut off is released in PDF form and comprises the category-wise cut off marks. There are no sectional cut off marks in the exam. The examination authority releases overall cut off marks for the exam. Candidates securing equal to or more than the cut off marks are selected for the exam. RRB Group D cut off marks are calculated out of 100 marks. There are various factors based on which the cut off marks are calculated. These factors are number of vacancies, difficulty level of the exam and number of test takers. RRB Group D cut off is calculated after the normalisation of marks.

There are two types of RRB Group D cut off. One is qualifying cut off and the other being the overall cut off. Candidates are required to secure both the cut off marks in order to qualify the exam. RRB Group D cut off is decided by the examination authority to select candidates for the next round of selection process.
Percentile-based normalisation of marks has been done to calculate the RRB Group D cut off. In Percentile-based normalisation, the marks obtained are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each shift of examinees. The percentile score indicates the percentage of candiates that have scored equal to or below that particular percentile in that examination. The percentile score of each candidate is converted into normalised marks by interpolation of raw marks into base shift to decide the RRB Group D cut off marks.

Yes, there are qualifying marks in RRB Group D exam. The qualifying marks for your and EWS categories are 40 and 30 for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), SC, and ST. These percentage of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2 per cent for PwBD candidates in case of shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them. Besides the cut off marks, candidates are required to secure the qualifying as per their categories to qualify the exam. For each correct answer in RRB Group D exam, candidates score one mark. 1/3 marks are deducted for wrong answers. The category-wise RRB Group D qualifying marks is given below.
