SBI Clerk Cut Off 2025: State Bank of India (SBI) releases the SBI Junior Associate cut off for prelims and mains exams. The cut off is announced on the official website for different categories and states. Candidates need to login with the required credentials to check the SBI Clerk exam cut off. Candidates securing equal to or more than the cut off marks are declared qualified for different stages of recruitment.

How to Check SBI Clerk Cut off 2025?

SBI Clerk cutoff is released separately for prelims and mains exam. To check the category-wise and state-wise cut offs, candidates need to enter the registration number/roll number, date of birth, and captcha code. As there is no sectional cutoff, candidates are only required to secure the overall SBI Clerk cutoff to qualify for each exam stage. The final selection is done based on SBI Clerk cutoff for the mains exam provided candidates qualify the local language test. The prelims cutoff is not taken into consideration for the final merit list. Candidates can follow the steps below to check the cutoff marks of SBI Clerk:

  1. Visit the official website
  2. Click the cutoff link of SBI Clerk on the home page
  3. On the login page, enter registration number/roll number, date of birth and captcha code
  4. SBI Clerk cut off appears on the screen
  5. Check the cut-off and save it for further reference

What is SBI Clerk Cut off?

SBI Clerk Cut off is the minimum qualifying marks required to be secured by each candidate in the prelims and mains exams. This means candidates need who score equal to or greater than the cut off marks are considered qualified for the exam. There is no sectional cut off in the SBI Clerk exam, but candidates have to qualify the overall SBI Clerk cut off to get selected for the recruitment process.

Factors Affecting SBI Clerk Cut off

The cut off is determined based on the following factors:

  • Number of vacancies
  • The difficulty level of the exam
  • Number of test-takers

SBI Clerk Prelims Cut off 

The prelims exam comprises three sections: English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The cutoff for the prelims exam is 100 marks. Based on the SBI Clerk cutoff, candidates are selected for the mains exam 10 times the number of vacancies. 

SBI Clerk Mains Cut off

The mains exam of SBI Clerk comprises four sections, General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability, and Computer Aptitude. The test carries a total of 200 marks. SBI Clerk cut off for mains exam is decided based on the total marks secured by the last candidates provisionally selected. Candidates are required to score a minimum percentage of marks on aggregate. However, five per cent relaxation in the minimum qualifying marks is provided to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/XS candidates. The bank decides the minimum qualifying marks on aggregate. The merit list is prepared state-wise and category-wise.

SBI Clerk starting salary is INR 19,900 (INR 17,900 plus two advance increments). The newly revised payscale of SBI Clerk is INR 17900-1000/3-20900-1230/3-24590-1490/4-30550- 1730/7-42600-3270/1-45930-1990/1-47920. Candidates can calculate their salaries by adding basic salary, HRA, city compensation, provident fund and pension contributions. The basic pay is INR 17,900, however, with two advance increments, the starting basic salary is INR 19,900.
