SSC GD Exam Date 2025: The SSC GD 2025 PET/ PST result will be released soon at ssc.gov.in. The SSC GD physical test 2025 was held from August 20 to September 12, 2025. The SSC GD medical date 2025 will be announced soon on the official website - https://rect.crpf.gov.in. The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC GD final result 2025 along with the scorecard/ marks after the DV/ DME on the official website - ssc.gov.in, along with the cutoff marks and merit list. The SSC GD Constable exam was held online from February 4 to 25, 2025.

SSC GD 2026 Dates: The Commission has announced the tentative SSC GD Constable 2026 dates for the Constable (GD) in CAPFs, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2026. The SSC GD notification and application form will be released in November 2025. The SSC GD exam will be held in January-February 2026.

SSC GD Constable Selection Process

The exam process for the SSC GD begins with the release of the official notification. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) issues the official SSC GD notification PDF, mentioning all the important eligibility conditions, vacancies, syllabus, and exam pattern. The exact dates related to the exam are also mentioned on the official SSC GD notification. Candidates can plan their preparation as per the dates of the exam because the SSC GD exam has very nominal eligibility criteria. SSC GD Selection Process 2025

The recruitment process for SSC GD Constable comprises:

  1. CBE (online exam)
  2. PET/ PST (physical test)
  3. DV/ Medical Exam

All those candidates who successfully apply for the exam are required to appear for the SSC GD Constable exam. The exam is of one hour duration and carries a total of 160 marks. The total number of questions asked in the exam is 80, and the marks allotted to each question are two marks. There is a negative marking for incorrect answers of 0.25 marks. Candidates need to qualify for all the stages of the SSC GD exam to finally get selected for the final SSC GD result. In PET/PST, candidates will be assessed based on their height parameters.

Q:   What is the age limit for SSC GD?

Candidates must be of minimum 18 years of age in order to be eligible for SSC GD exam. The upper SSC GD age limit is 23 years. However, the Commission provides a relaxation in the upper age limit for all the reserved categories such as OBC, SC, ST, ExS and others. Q:   When will the SSC GD Physical Admit Card be released?

The SSC GD Physical Test 2025 will be conducted from August 20 to September 12, 2025. The SSC GD Physical admit card 2025 for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) has been released by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on August 8, 2025. The SSC GD PET/PST admit card is released around 10 days before the allotted exam date.

Prior to April-May 2025 when the exam takes place the Staff Selection Commission adheres to a defined timeline by releasing results during June-July 2025.

There are no such repetitive questions in the SSC GD Constable exam. However, the topics and types are generally the same almost every year. The Commission makes changes in the difficulty level of the same topics asked in the exam. Moreover, the Commission may give more weight to one topic this year and another topic next year. For example, there may be more questions on the number system in 2025, and in 2026, the Mathematics section may include more questions on Algebra. So, Candidates need to prepare all the topics and sections carefully.
