What is NCHMCT JEE?
NCHMCT JEE full form is National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology Joint Entrance Exam. It is a national level hospitality entrance exam for admission in BSc (Hospitality & Hotel Administration). The exam is held annually and it is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT). The 3 years BSc (HHA) course is offered by NCHMCT jointly with the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). All the participating Institutes accept the NCHM JEE score for admission to the BSc (HHA) courses offered by their respective institutions.

There are about 21 central IHMs, 33 state IHMs,1 PSU IHM, 2 IHMs run Under PPP, 25 Private IHMs, and 1 PSU owned Institute that are affiliated to NCHMCT and offer BSc (HHA) courses and the admission is based on NCHMCT JEE.
The NCHMCT JEE 2026 Question Paper will be in two languages; i.e. English and Hindi. Age limit: There is an upper age limit for the candidates. The age limit is a defined category wise, check below:
- Upper age limit for General, General (EWS) and OBC categories - 25 years as of July 01, 2026, ie, candidates born on or after July 01, 1999, are eligible
- SC, ST candidates and Physically challenged candidates - 25 years as of July 01, 2026, ie, candidates born on or after July 01, 1997, are eligible
Qualification: There are no minimum marks that candidates need in their qualifying exam. However, they need to fulfil the following conditions:
- Must have passed or must be appearing in 10+2.
- English must be a compulsory subject.

NCHMCT JEE 2026 Admission
The admission process of NCHMCT JEE is as follows:
NTA conducted the application form filling process of NCHMCT JEE 2026 in the online mode only. The candidates could check their eligibility and fill the form in online mode only. The application form filling process included the below-given steps:

Step 2: Download the admit card
Candidates could download the admit card from the official website. Only the registered candidates were issued the NCHMCT JEE admit card.
Step 3: Appear for the exam

Step 4: Answer Key, Question Papers, Response Sheet
NTA will release the NCHMCT JEE answer keys. The answer key will have the correct answers to all the questions that are asked in the test. Using the marking scheme of the test, candidates can calculate the probable score they are getting before the results are out. However, this will not be treated as a final score.

Step 5: Check result
NTA will announce the result of NCHMCT JEE 2026 likely by May second-week (Tentative). However, before the answer key, response sheet and question papers will also be uploaded on the official website. The result will be made available in the form of a scorecard.
NCHMCT JEE 2026 Result and Merit List
The exam authority will publish a combined merit list with ranked candidates as mentioned in NCHMCT JEE 2026 results. The ranking / merit of the candidates will be decided based on the NTA score. - Candidates securing higher marks in the English component of NCHMCT JEE 2026 will rank higher.
