What is PUBDET?
PUBDET full form is Presidency University Bachelor’s Degree Entrance Test. The exam is held to select students for BA and BSc (honours) courses at Presidency University, Kolkata. It is an offline test conducted with pen and paper. Students who want to study at the university can apply for up to two subjects through PUBDET application form. Presidency University is very popular in West Bengal. Around 40 to 50 thousand students apply every year. The total number of seats is announced before PUBDET counselling and seat allotment. Usually, seats offered are much fewer than the number of applicants, which makes the exam really competitive.
