Commonly asked questions
Q:   Is one month enough for MAH MCA CET preparation?
A:

No, one month would not be enough for MAH MCA CET preparation. Because the syllabus of MAH MCA CET is so vast, covering all the topics and memorising them requires a lot of effort. If you have been or are a BCA student, then it can be less challenging for you since most of the subjects of MAH MCA CET and BCA are similar. You are advised to study all the subjects and solve previous year MAH MCA CET question papers. Begin practising MAH MCA CET sample papers at least 1 or 2 months before the exam to become accustomed to the exam.

Q:   Do I need to prepare the complete MAH MCA CET syllabus?
A:

Yes. You must study the entire MAH MCA CET syllabus before the exam. You can refer to question papers available on the official syllabus as well as the Shiksha platform to understand what to expect in the exam and prepare accordingly.

Q:   How can I prepare for MAH MCA CET without coaching?
A:

Taking the help of coaching to clear the MAH MCA CET exam is student choice. Many students score good marks in MAH MCA CET by self-studying, without help from coaching. To crack MAH MCA CET without coaching, students need to make a study plan considering the time they have before exam.

Students can take help of online tutorials and videos from previous year toppers who have cleared the exam without coaching to understand their strategy. One thing that is required when students are not taking coaching is regular study.

Make a daily time table of study and devote at least 5-6 hours for MAH MCA CET preparation. Students who are in BCA final year can give 3-4 hours specifically for MAH MCA CET beside college studies. Students who have passed BCA should also study at least 6 hours daily.

What Should Be Your Goal in the Last 30 Days?

Your main goals should be to-

  • Review high-weightage math formulas and logical patterns daily
  • Practice solving questions in 50 seconds to be able to solve questions within the allotted 90-minutes.
  • Use mock test analysis to identify and fix recurring silly mistakes.
  • Complete full-length mock tests to improve accuracy and build mental stamina
  • Aim to finish the English and Computer sections in 20 minutes, and prioritise Math and Logic.
  • Given that we have a zero negative marking rule, try to answer all 100 questions

Commonly asked questions
Q:   How to crack MAH MCA CET in first attempt?
A:

Clearing the MAH MCA CET exam in first attempt is not a difficult task. If we see the year over year statistics, the ratio of students who clear MAH MCA CET in first attempt is high in comparison to students who dropped a year after graduation. One thing which makes it easy to clear MAH MCA CET with BCA/BSc IT is that students are in regular touch of most exam syllabus.

To score good marks in MAH MCA CET in the first attempt, it is advised that students study BCA/BSc IT topics thoroughly, clear all the concepts and solve mock test papers. Graduation books which students study are the best books for MAH MCA CET preparation. Students must study these books properly and solve all the questions in the book and do not memorize the concepts as some students do.

Q:   Is one month sufficient for MAH MCA CET preparation?
A:

One month is not sufficient for MAH MCA CET preparation if a student has not started preparing or have not studied earlier for the exam. As the syllabus of MAH MCA CET is vast, studying all the topics and remembering them takes a lot of effort. However, graduation students can get a decent score in MAH MCA CET if time after the final exam is devoted exclusively for the MAH MCA CET preparation. Since most topics of MAH MCA CET and BCA are similar, students need to revise all the topics and solve previous year MAH MCA CET question papers. Start solving MAH MCA CET mock test papers at last 3-4 days before the exam to make yourself comfortable with the exam.

Q:   How to prepare for MAH MCA CET from graduation days?
A:

Starting the MAH MCA CET preparation from BCA/graduation is the best time. As MAH MCA CET syllabus consists of topics from BCA/BSc IT, students can easily cover all the topics along with college. Students can begin by checking the topics that is covered in both BCA and MAH MCA CET and give special attention to them. For computer concepts subject, study BCA books and also take help from reference books while for other subject which include English, Mathematics & statistics and Logical reasoning, students can prepare from R.D. Sharma. Understand the concepts thoroughly and solve numerical problems. To crack MAH MCA CET along with BCA, students should devote at least 2-3 hours beside college studies. Regularly solve MAH MCA CET mock test and solve previous year question papers to evaluate the performance.

Final Motivation for MCA Aspirants

The MAH MCA CET is not about solving all questions. It is about solving maximum questions correctly in the limited scope of time. Many average students crack the exam by using smart strategies, not by studying 12 hours daily.

If you use the last 30 days properly:

  • Your speed will improve
  • Your accuracy will increase
  • Your confidence will be strong

Believe in your preparation and stay consistent.

Final Tip:

Even 4-5 focused hours daily with the right strategy can give better results than 10 hours of random study.

All the best for your exam!
