The Bar Council of India will start the AIBE 21 Application Process 2026 on February 11, 2026. The AIBE 21 Exam is scheduled for June 7, 2026. Candidates who want to appear for the AIBE 21 Exam must make sure that they submit the AIBE 21 Application Form 2026 on or before the last date. The BCI will keep the AIBE 21 (XXI) Application Window 2026 open until April 30, 2026. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.

Only those candidates who will complete the registration process on time will be issued the AIBE 21 Hall Ticket 2026. Those who will clear the exam will be issued "Certificate of Practice" which is mandatory to practice law in the country. AIBE 21 Application Form: Eligibility Criteria

The Bar Council exam eligibility criteria include minimum academic qualifications, age limits, and registration with the state Bar Council, among others.Candidates can check the  AIBE 21 eligibility criteria 2026 below:

Qualifying exam

Candidates who have passed a three-year LLB or five-year LLB degree are eligible to appear for the AIBE exam. Therefore, the academic qualifying exam for AIBE candidates is 

  1. 3-year LLB degree, OR
  2. 5-year integrated LLB degree

Minimum marks in qualifying exam

The BCI mentions no minimum marks are required for appearing in the AIBE exam. However, a candidate must secure a minimum percentage or grades in their law degree as prescribed by universities for further education. 

Age limit for AIBE exam

There is no upper or lower age limit for appearing in the All India Bar Examination. 

State Bar Council Registration/Enrollment 

A candidate must be registered with their State Bar Councils as an Advocate. As State Bar Council enrollment is mandatory for AIBE eligibility. 

Candidates not enrolled as an advocate with the SBC, will not be able to apply for AIBE XXI 2026-27

Steps to Apply for AIBE 21 (XXI) Exam 2026?

AIBE 21 Registration

Go the official website of AIBE - http://www.allindiabarexamination.com. Click on the Registration link. The AIBE registration page would have appeared as under 

Candidates have to enter the following details in the online registration form: 

  • Enrollment state
  • Number
  • Name
  • Mobile Number
  • Email ID 
  • Category

They have to then enter OTP received on their mobile number and email address to verify the registration process. Once verified, Next, AIBE 21 Registration Number and Password is sent to the registered email address. Next, candidates is required to log in with these details as under

Fill AIBE Application Form

The application form will appear on the screen as under 

 

Candidates can check the details to enter on the AIBE application form 2026 below

  • Name
  • Gender
  • Father’s/husband’s name
  • Date of birth
  • Permanent address
  • Email ID
  • Mobile number
  • Test centre preferences (at least 3)
  • Choice of test paper language (any 1 from available languages)

Also, they need to provide their academic qualification details as under

  • Matriculation details 
  • Intermediate/ Class 12 details 
  • Graduation details
  • LLB degree details 
  • Master's degree/any other qualification (if available)

Once all details are filled in, candidates need to click on the Next button.

Upload Documents

The application fee for AIBE 21 2026 can be paid in online mode only using any of the e-payment methods

Candidates can download their submitted application form once all the steps are complete using their AIBE Login Details. How to correct AIBE 21 (XXI) 2026-27 Application Details?

Candidates can get their details corrected on the Application form of AIBE XXI (21) 2026-27 through the portal once the payment is complete. Candidates must ensure to make all changes until the AIBE Application Form Correction Window 2026 is open. After that, no requests will be entertained. 

The details that can be requested for application correction are:

  • Name,
  • Enrolment Number,
  • Date of Birth,
  • Test centre preferences

However, the following fields cannot be edited after the payment is made,

  • Registered email ID and mobile number
  • PwD category
  • Caste Category
  • Option related to enrollment certificate/ final semester status

AIBE 21 Admit Card 2026

The Bar Council of India will of AIBE admit card only to those candidates who have successfully registered for the exam. Candidates whose AIBE applications remain incomplete in any way will not be able to appear for the AIBE Exam. AIBE 21 (XXI) Admit Card 2026-27 is released in online mode.

The AIBE admit card will carry all important details regarding the candidate (name, roll number, photo, signature) and the exam (date, time, centre address, reporting time, exam day instructions). Candidates have to appear for the AIBE exam only as per the details mentioned in the admit card.

AIBE Exam is tough to crack as its the certification exam. Candidates who will clear the exam will be issued CoP. Candidates must prepare for the exam pretty well to clear in first attempt.
