What is IILET?
There are many candidates who aspire to take admission to the Law courses at the Indore Institute of Law. IILET is the entrance exam conducted for admission to these courses. This entrance exam is conducted online. The marking criteria is similar to the CLAT and other major state-level exams, i.e., 1 mark for each correct answer and no negative marking for the incorrect answer.
The IILET question papaer will have questions based on English Language, Current Affairs, including General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Techniques. The candidates who qualify the exam will be called for the personal interview.

The Indore Institute of Law (IIL) conducts an entrance exam known as IILET for admissions to its five-year integrated LLB courses. IILET is conducted in a paper-based test mode for a duration of two hours. The exam has 150 MCQs carrying 1 mark each.

IILET 2026 Application Form
Candidates can access the IILET application forms online at indoreinstituteoflaw.org. The admission to the BA LLB, LLB and BBA LLB courses are offered through this exam at the institute. The aspirants will need to enter their Name, course applying for, qualifying exam details, etc. while filling the IILET 2026 application form. Note: Admissions to 70% seats in BBA LLB (Hons.) with Global & Transnational Studies, BA LLB and BBA LLB courses are offered through IILET. However, admission to 30% seats will be accepted through scores of CLAT. The institute is accepting admission to 10% seats based on candidates marks in Class 12.

IILET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
The students who wish to get admission to the Indore Institute of Law should fulfil the eligibility criteria as under:
- Class 12th pass or an equivalent from a recognised board of education is accepted
- The candidates who appeared or are appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for IILET exam however, they should submit the documented proof of fulfilling the eligibility criteria at the time of the selection process.

The candidates applying to the IILET 2026 should have passed or appeared in Class 12th or an equivalent examination. Applicants belonging to General/OBC category must haveleast 45% marks or an equivalent CGPA and, 40% marks or an equivalent CGPA if belonging to SC/ ST category.
IILET 2026 Admission Process
The institute will conduct the admission process of IILET 2026 as under:
Apply for IILET:
Candidates seeking admissions to the five-year law courses at IIL need to apply in online mode on the official website. Candidates first need to register in online mode entering their name, email Id, phone number, the course selection and password creation. After this, candidates will be provided with a username and password (as created). Candidates have to log in with the credentials and fill the application form and pay the fee. The application form fee for all UG courses is INR 2,000, candidates can pay in online mode using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking Method.
Download IILET Admit Card:
ILI will issue admit cards to all the candidates who have registered for IILET 2026 in online mode. Candidates can download the admit card for IILET 2026 from the official website after entering the login credentials. The admit card will mention the details about IILET 2026 test date, timings, exam centre name, location as well as, the details of the candidates taking the exam.
Appear for IILET:
Candidates have to appear for IILET 2026 as per the schedule. They should carry the admit card of IILET 2026 and one valid ID proof along with it. Candidates should reach the exam centre at least an hour before the exam timings and go through the instructions provided by the exam centre authority carefully. Candidates will have to complete the examination in two hours only. The question paper of IILET 2026 will be of comprehensive and reasoning type to understand the candidates analytical skills.
Declaration of IILET Results:
The institute will declare the results of IILET 2026 online. Candidates can check their qualifying status for IILET 2026 on the official website of the law college. The candidates qualifying the entrance exam will be issued scorecards mentioning details of their marks in each subject and overall scores out of 150 marks.
Appear for Selection Rounds:
Candidates who will qualify for IILET 2026 will be further called for Personal Interview (PI) rounds for final selection. The candidates seeking admissions to BBA LLB (Hons.) in Global and Transnational Studies will be required to take the Psychometric Test along with PI on the same day.

The exam pattern provides an overview of the question paper of the exam. The IILET exam will be based on the CLAT exam pattern. Candidates must check the IILET exam pattern for the exam before sitting to prepare for it. It includes the types of questions to be asked in exam, sectional-weightage, marking criteria, etc. The IILET exam will be held in offline mode.

IILET is a standardized test with a uniform pattern and single question paper for admissions to five-year integrated LLB courses in Law. Candidates can take the exam for admissions IIL. Whereas, CLAT and AILET have separate question papers for UG and PG courses. Based on CLAT scores, admissions are done at 22 NLUs and accepting colleges. Check the list of NLUs here.
