What is AIBE 21 (XXI) and Why It Matters

The AIBE is a certification exam conducted by the BCI. The exam is conducted to check candidates' knowledge of legal subjects and practical advocacy skills. Yes, final-year and final-semester LLB students can apply for AIBE 21. Eligible students must have no backlogs and be in their final year of a 3-year or 5-year LLB course from a BCI-recognized university.

AIBE 21 Eligibility Criteria 2026

To fill the AIBE 21 application form 2026, candidates must meet the eligibility requirements. In case you fail to fulfil the AIBE 21 Eligibility Criteria, the BCI will reject your application form.

AIBE XXI (21) Eligibility Criteria

Qualifying exam

Candidates who have passed or are in final year of a three-year LLB or five-year LLB degree are eligible to appear for the AIBE exam. Therefore, the academic qualifying exam for AIBE candidates is 

  1. 3-year LLB degree, OR
  2. 5-year integrated LLB degree

Minimum marks in qualifying exam

The BCI mentions that no minimum marks are required to appear in the AIBE exam. However, a candidate must secure a minimum percentage or grades in their law degree as prescribed by universities for further education. 

Age limit for AIBE exam

There is no upper or lower age limit for appearing in the All India Bar Examination. 

State Bar Council Registration/Enrollment 

A candidate who has not registered with their State Bar Councils as an Advocate can apply. As State Bar Council enrollment is no more mandatory for AIBE eligibility.

How to Fill AIBE 21 Registration Form?

Candidates can know how to fill the AIBE 21 Application Form 2026 below

  • Go to the allindiabarexamination.com
  • Click on the register link displayed on the screen
  • Enter all the required details such as enrollment state, enrollment number, name, mobile number, etc.
  • Enter your personal details
  • Choose the language in which you wish to appear for the AIBE 21 Exam
  • Submit the application form
  • You will receive the registration ID and password at your email ID and phone number
  • Relogin and submit the AIBE 20 application fee

Candidates can follow the simple steps given below to make corrections in the AIBE application form. The AIBE 21 Application Correction Window 2026 will remain open for at least two days. Candidates must ensure that they make the required changes before the deadline.

  • Go to the website of AIBE, i.e. allindiabarexamination.com.
  • Click on the tab 'AIBE 21 (XXI) 202 Correction Window'.
  • Log in with the AIBE XXI 2026 registration credentials.
  • Click on the tab ‘Correction in Application Form’.
  • Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number and email, and click on the ‘Verify and Proceed’ tab.
  • Make the necessary changes, provided the fields are editable and allowed for the candidates based on their Aadhaar verification status.
  • Click on Save.
  • Download the updated Application Confirmation form.

Yes, candidates can raise objection on AIBE Answer Key. Based on the objections received, the AIBE Final Answer Key will be released. The AIBE Result is declared based on the final answer key.

Candidates who will successfully pass the AIBE exam will be issued the CoP by BCI. The qualified candidates will have to collect their Certificate of Practice from their respective State Bar Councils. It is a mandatory document to practice Law in India.
