The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 20 Exam 2025 will be held on November 30, 2025, 1 PM to 3PM . AIBE 20 Exam 2025 will be held in pen-and-paper mode. Candidates appearing for AIBE Exam must strictly adhere to the dress code and exam day instructions issued by the Bar Council of India. Failure to follow these guidelines may lead to disqualification and prevent the candidate from participating in the exam. The BCI has also released a list of prohibited items that are not allowed inside the examination hall. Before all this, candidates must not forget to carry their AIBE Hall Ticket 2025. How to download AIBE Admit Card 2025?

Candidates can follow the method given below to download the AIBE 2025 Admit Card-

  • Go to the official website; i.e. allindiabarexamination.com. 
  • Click on the link that says "AIBE XX Admit Card"
  • Click on the link and enter your registered login ID and password
  • Download the admit card, save and print.

In case their are discrepancy in AIBE Admit Card, please contact the helpdesk timely to avoid any problem on the AIBE Exam Day. Candidates are advised to check any specific instructions on the official AIBE 20 admit card for any additional guidelines. Non-compliance with the dress code could lead to delays or disqualification.

AIBE 20 Dress Code 2025

The BCI issued the exam day guidelines on the admit card and failure to follow these guidelines may lead to disqualification and prevent the candidate from participating in the exam. The dress code for the AIBE 20 (XX) 2025 exam is designed to ensure the comfort and security of all candidates. Here are the key guidelines regarding what to wear and what to avoid:

  • Comfortable Clothing:

Wear comfortable and simple attire suitable for sitting for long hours. Avoid clothing with excessive patterns, writing, or symbols that might distract or violate the exam rules.

  • Candidates should wear comfortable cloths

  • Wear comfortable shoes
  • Avoid wearing excessive jewelry, watches, or large accessories
  • Do not bring or wear any electronic devices

  • If you wear religious attire (like a headscarf, turban, or specific cultural clothing), make sure it is permissible as long as it does not obstruct the exam process.

AIBE 20 Exam Day Guidelines 2025 and Important Instructions

The BCI has also released a list of prohibited items that are not allowed inside the examination hall. Candidates appearing for AIBE 20 (XX) 2025 must follow the instructions given below:

  • Admit Card:

Carry a color printout of the AIBE 20 2025 admit card. 

  • Photo Identity Proof:

Carry a valid photo ID proof issued by a government-approved authority. Acceptable documents include:

     - Voter ID

     - Aadhaar Card

     - PAN Card

     - Passport

     - Driver's License

     - Enrollment ID issued by State Bar Councils.

  • Photographs:

Carry two recent passport-size photographs (matching the photo on your admit card) for identification purposes, in case they are requested by the exam authorities. Make sure to follow all these instructions carefully to avoid any issues on the exam day.

Given below are the important dos and don'ts for AIBE 20 2025 exam day. Candidates were guided to follow these dos and don'ts to have a hassle free exam day.

Carry a Blue/Black Ball Point Pen to fill the OMR answer sheet for AIBE 2025 

Don’t carry any stationary item other than a pen. Don’t carry electronic items including mobile phones, pager, watch, ipad and calculator.

Two copies of AIBE 20 admit card

Don’t carry eatables inside the exam venue.

Photo ID and a passport size photo

Don’t reach late. Gates will be closed at 9:50 AM.

Self-attest self-delaration form before reaching the test centre.

Don’t carry anything with yourself while coming out of the test room.

Reach the AIBE exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned on the admit card.

Don’t resist frisking or identification procedures at the exam centre.

Wear simple outfits with plain cardigans and sweaters.

 

Don’t wear jewellery and jacket on the exam day.

Submit a copy of admit card and rough sheets to the invigilator.

 

Are Bare Acts Allowed in AIBE Exam

Yes, Bare Acts will be permitted in the AIBE 20 (XX) exam. The Bar Council of India (BCI) will allow Bare Acts without short notes. Candidates should adhere to the following guidelines regarding the Bare Acts:

  • Bare Acts without Short Notes (First Preference)
  • Photocopies of Bare Acts without Short Notes
  • Downloaded/Printed Copies of Bare Acts without Short Notes
  • Bare Acts with Short Notes or Minimal Notes (If Bare Acts without notes are unavailable)

Important Note: Candidates must ensure that no markings or notes are written on the Bare Act or its copies. Any such writing will result in the Bare Act being disallowed in the exam, and the candidate will be asked to leave it outside the examination hall.

No, the exam pattern of AIBE did not face changes this year. The exam will be held for 3 hours duration. Candidates will be asked 100 MCQ based questions.

Yes, BCI released the AIBE admit card. It was released on November 15, 2025. Candidates must note that AIBE 20 Hall Ticket 2025 is released online only and no candidate will receive the admit card for AIBE 20 through post.
