AIBE Exam 2026: The Bar Council of India (BCI) is all set to begin the registration for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) XXI. Candidates who wish to appear for the AIBE 21 Exam 2026 must submit the AIBE 21 (XXI) application on or before the last date. The AIBE 21 Application Process 2026 will begin from February 11, 2026. Candidates must be very careful while registering for the bar exam.

Candidates must keep a list of documents required for the AIBE 21 application form 2026 ready before beginning the process. AIBE XXI (21) Eligibility Criteria

Qualifying exam

Candidates who have passed or are in final year of a three-year LLB or five-year LLB degree are eligible to appear for the AIBE exam. Therefore, the academic qualifying exam for AIBE candidates is 

  1. 3-year LLB degreeOR
  2. 5-year integrated LLB degree

Minimum marks in qualifying exam

The BCI mentions no minimum marks are required for appearing in the AIBE exam. However, a candidate must secure a minimum percentage or grades in their law degree as prescribed by universities for further education. 

Age limit for AIBE exam

There is no upper or lower age limit for appearing in the All India Bar Examination. 

State Bar Council Registration/Enrollment 

A candidate who has not registered with their State Bar Councils as an Advocate can apply. As State Bar Council enrollment is no more mandatory for AIBE eligibility.

Candidates can follow the simple steps given below to make AIBE application correction:

  • Go to the website of AIBE; i.e. allindiabarexamination.com.
  • Click on the tab 'AIBE 21 (XXI) 2026 Correction Window'.
  • Log in with the AIBE XXI 2026 registration credentials.

  • Click on the tab ‘Correction in Application Form’.

  • Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number and email, and click on the ‘Verify and Proceed’ tab.

  • Make the necessary changes provided the fields are editable and allowed for the candidates based on their Aadhaar verification status.

  • Click on Save.

  • Download the updated Application Confirmation form.

How to Download AIBE 2026 Admit Card?

Candidates must note that AIBE Hall Ticket is the most important document to appear in the test. Candidates will not be allowed to appear in the AIBE exam without the admit card. Read the steps below:

AIBE Exam is tough to crack as its the certification exam. Candidates who will clear the exam will be issued CoP. Candidates must prepare for the exam pretty well to clear in first attempt.

Both exams are national level. While AIBE is a certification exam, CLAT is an entrance exam to get admission into NLUs. The difficulty level of both the exams are more or less same.
