Survey Breakdown: Preferred Months for AIBE 20

• 50 per cent of candidates want the exam to be conducted in December.
• 33 per cent of respondents prefer the exam to be held in July.
• 10 per cent of aspirants favor the exam being conducted in October.
• The remaining 7 per cent expressed flexibility and stated that they have no preference for the exam month.

Legal aspirants who participated in the poll cited multiple reasons for their preference for a December exam:

Diverse Opinions Among Candidates

While December is the most favored month, a significant portion of candidates also expressed their desire for an earlier exam date in July. This group primarily includes fresh graduates who want to clear the AIBE at the earliest and begin their legal practice without delays. Similarly, the 10 per cent who chose October may be looking for a middle ground between early and late scheduling, while the 7% without any strong preference indicate flexibility with the BCI’s decision.

BCI Yet to Announce Official Exam Date

As of now, the Bar Council of India has not released the official notification for AIBE 20. However, with these survey insights reflecting candidate preferences, it remains to be seen whether BCI will take these opinions into account while scheduling the exam.
