KLEE Exam Pattern - The exam pattern for KLEE refers to the most important details related to the exam question papers. Knowing the exam pattern can help candidates understand the overall structure of the KLEE 2025 question paper.

KLEE 2025 is a computer-based exam, and the questions will be different for 3 years LLB, 5 years LLB and LLM courses. However, the KLEE question papers for all the law three courses will have 200 objective type questions. The exam duration is 2 hours. KLEE Exam Pattern 2025 for 3 years LLB

The exam pattern for 3 years LLB course is given below:

  • Mode: The LLB 3 years course entrance exam is held as a computer-based test.
  • Number of questions: There are a total of 200 questions in the exam
  • Total number of sections: The total number of sections in the exam is 4
  • Type of questions: The type of questions in the exam is objective type
  • Marking scheme: The marking scheme is +3 for each correct answer and -1 for each wrong attempt.
  • Total marks: The entire exam is of 600 marks
  • Duration: The total exam is of 2 hours

In LLB, 5 years and 3 years, the weightage of sections are (a) General English (60 questions), (b) General Knowledge (45 questions), (c) Arithmetic and Mental Ability (25 questions) and (d) Aptitude for Legal Studies (70 questions).

In KLEE LLM entrance exam, the weightage is Jurisprudence (25 questions), Constitutional Law (25 questions), Law of Crimes (25 questions), and Law of Contract (25 questions) in Part A. In part B, Public International Law (20 questions), Administrative Law (20 questions), Law of Property (20 questions), Company Law (20 questions), Interpretation of statutes (10 questions), and Law of Torts (10 questions).

Q:   What is KLEE 2025 exam pattern for the LLM course?
A: 

The Entrance Examination for admission to the LLM curse is a Computer Based Test (CBT). The Questions of the Entrance Examination is of objective type. The questions shall be of the standard of LLB Examination. The LLM paper has 2 parts - part A and part B. There are a total of 200 questions in the exam. Part A has 100 questions and part 2 has 100 questions. Part A has 4 sections and Part B has 6 sections.

The LLM paper has 2 parts - part A and part B. The exam pattern for both parts is as follows:

  • Mode: KLEE 2025 for LLM course is held as a computer-based test.
  • Number of questions: There are a total of 200 questions in the exam. Part A has 100 questions and part 2 has 100 questions.
  • Total number of sections: Part A has 4 sections and Part B has 6 sections.

KLEE 2025 Qualifying Marks

To qualify in the entrance exam candidates have to secure a minimum mark in the entrance exam. However, there are no such requirements for the LLM entrance exam. For 3 years LLB and 5 years LLB the qualifying marks are as follows:

Candidates who are pursuing the last year of their qualifying exam, i.e. graduation degree can apply for the KLEE LLM entrance exam. The prerequisite for the applcation is that the candidates must have their qualifying exam marksheet or provisional result during the counselling process.
