KLEE Exam Pattern - The exam pattern for KLEE refers to the most important details related to the exam question papers. Knowing the exam pattern can help candidates understand the overall structure of the KLEE 2026 question paper.

KLEE 2026 will be a computer-based exam, and the questions will be different for 3 years LLB, 5 years LLB and LLM courses. However, the KLEE question papers for all the law three courses will have 200 objective type questions. The exam duration is 2 hours. The 3 year LLB course exam pattern is given below:

  • Mode: The LLB 3 years course entrance exam is held as a computer-based test.
  • Number of questions: There are a total of 200 questions in the exam
  • Total number of sections: The total number of sections in the exam is 4
  • Type of questions: The type of questions in the exam is objective type
  • Marking scheme: The marking scheme is +3 for each correct answer and -1 for each wrong attempt.
  • Total marks: The entire exam is of 600 marks

The Entrance Examination for admission to the LLM curse is a Computer Based Test (CBT). The Questions of the Entrance Examination is of objective type. The questions shall be of the standard of LLB Examination. The LLM paper has 2 parts - part A and part B. There are a total of 200 questions in the exam. Part A has 100 questions and part 2 has 100 questions. Part A has 4 sections and Part B has 6 sections.

KLEE Exam Pattern 2026 for 5 years LLB

KLEE Exam Pattern 2026 for 5 Years LLB has one paper with objective type questions. The test is done offline. Each question got four options, and you must choose the correct one. The paper carries 200 marks in total. For every right answer, 3 marks are given, and for each wrong one, 1 mark is reduced. The exam time is 2 hours. KLEE 2026 5 Year LLB exam questions come from General English, General Knowledge, and Aptitude for Legal Studies.

KLEE Exam Pattern 2026 for LLM has one paper with many choice type questions. The test happens offline. Each question got four options, and you need to pick the right one. The paper total is 200 marks. You get 3 marks for every correct answer, and 1 mark goes off for wrong one. The time given for exam is 2 hours only. KLEE 2026 Qualifying Marks

KLEE 2026 qualifying marks mean the least score you must get to pass the exam. For general category, it’s around 10% of total marks. SC, ST and SEBC candidates don’t have any fixed minimum marks. Only those who score the same or more than KLEE 2026 qualifying marks will be in the rank list and can join the counselling round.

The Kerala Law Entrance Test admission is expected to start soon after the release of the notification. Candidates who want to appear for the exam first have to fill out the application form, download the admit card before the exam, take the exam, and wait for the result. After the result counselling process will begin. 
Q:   What is the age limit criteria for KLEE 2026?
A: 

There is no lower age limit for admission to the 3-year or 5-year LLB programme. The upper age limit for admission both the LLB Programme will be subject to the decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. In case if age restriction under clause 28 of Legal Education Rules, 2008 of Bar Council of India is reinstated, only those candidates within the stipulated age limit will be allowed to appear for the Entrance Examination.

After the release of the KLEE results 2026, the selected students will be qualified for the KLEE 2026 counseling.

Q:   How will I know about KLEE test centre allotted to me?
A: 

The KLEE exam centre will be allotted along with the admit card. Candidates are advised to check the admit card to know about the exam centre and other details. Apart from the name and address of the allotted KLEE test centre, the admit card comprises details such as exam date, timing, exam day guidelines, etc.

If your unable to download your KLEE admit card, ensure the following things:

Your interconnection is working and stable. If your internet connection is not working and is unstable, you will not be able to download your admit card.

Make sure you enter your registration number / registration or payment reference ID, qualifying exam hall ticket number, and date of birth correctly.

If you are not able to download the KLEE admit card through a particular device, you need to use another device to do so.

If you fail to download the KLEE admit card event after using the methods, you need to contact the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations Kerala (CEE Kerala) by phone or by email. The email address and phone number of the helpdesk can be found on the official website of CEE Kerala.

The KLEE application fee for the LLM programme is INR 900 for general categories, and INR 450/- for the reserved categories.

For the reserved categories, the KLEE application fee has been relaxed. SC/ST category candidates will have to pay INR 450/- to apply for the exam.
