The Entrance Examination for admission to the LLM curse is a Computer Based Test (CBT). The Questions of the Entrance Examination is of objective type. The questions shall be of the standard of LLB Examination. The LLM paper has 2 parts - part A and part B. There are a total of 200 questions in the exam. Part A has 100 questions and part 2 has 100 questions. Part A has 4 sections and Part B has 6 sections.

It can happen that two or more students receive same marks in KLEE 2026 exam. In such cases, CEE Kerala uses tie-breaking criteria to allot a relevant rank to candidates. Check tie-breaking rule for KLEE 2026 below.
- A candidate with higher marks in the Aptitude for Legal Studies section gets a higher rank.
- If a tie still persists, higher marks in the General English section are ranked higher.
- If scores are still identical, candidates with higher marks in Arithmetic and Mental Ability section get a higher rank
- The older candidate by date of birth is placed higher on the merit list in case a tie still occurs.
- If a tie still exists, decision of CEE is taken as final.
