OJEE 2025 counselling registration for the BAMS/BHMS course Round 2 started on September 27, 2025. OJEE counselling registration 2025 started on June 20, 2025, at 5 PM. A candidate must be at least 17 years of age to be eligible to take part in the OJEE counselling process. The counselling process for MBA, MTech, MCA, LE BTech, etc., started on July 1, 2025. To confirm the seats, candidates are required to upload the relevant documents and pay the part-admission fee online. Special OJEE counselling registration 2025 started on July 28, 2025. August 4, 2025, was the last date to register. 

Aspirants who participate in OJEE counselling will be allotted seats based on their rank and choices filled for admission during the application process. JEE Main rank holders can check the tentative schedule for OJEE 2025 counselling online once released. Registrations for NEET UG 2025 counselling for qualified candidates who wish to take admission to MBBS and BDS also started online.

All rank holders are eligible to participate in the counselling process irrespective of their admission status. Candidates can login using their credentials to participate in the counselling process. Students who appear for the Special OJEE exam and will be awarded ranks must note that the ranking for this course starts from 1100001.

OJEE 2025 Counselling Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to participate in the OJEE counselling 2025 must fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria.

  • Candidate should have qualified OJEE exam
  • Candidate must be at least 17 years old
  • Candidates who wish to participate in BAMS/BHMS counselling must have qualified in NEET(UG) with a valid rank
  • Candidates' parents should be a native of Odisha state. Candidates have to present the Resident/Nativity certificate during document verification
  • Candidate must have scored 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Class 12 for General category candidates. The minimum aggregate for SC/ST is 40%. Also, the candidates must have passed English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects individually.

Note: Newly allotted candidates can download their allotment letter only after paying the fee and getting the documents verified.

Q:   What is the fee for OJEE counselling?
A: 
The OJEE counselling process will be conducted for admission into different courses in the Odisha state. Students will have to fill the online application form in which they have to fill the college or courses of their choice. Candidates who wish to take part in the OJEE counselling process, need to pay a non-refundable fee of INR 450. Along with this, students will have to present original documents at the time of document verification at the nodal centers. Candidates will be allotted the seats provisionally and courses at first round of counselling. After the final seat allotment, students will have to pay the part admission fee of 10,000 or INR 5,000, based on the category online.
Q:   Am I eligible for OJEE counselling based on my JEE Mains marks and rank? I have not appeared for Orissa JEE.

Yes, all the JEE Main rank holders are eligible to take part in the OJEE counselling process for admission to the engineering programmes offered by colleges accepting OJEE scores. Even if the candidates have not appeared for the OJEE exam, they can get admission to various colleges based on their JEE Main scores. Candidates who wish to participate in BAMS/BHMS counselling must have qualified in NEET (UG) with a valid rank. Candidates must get the scores verified at JEE Cell, Gandamunda, Bhubaneswar-751030 in person who are taking a part in the OJEE counselling through JEE Mains or other qualifying entrance exams. JEE rank holders will be eligible to participate in the counselling process irrespective of their admission status.
Q:   When will the counseling of OJEE begin?
A: 

The OJEE Board releases the OJEE counselling notification online on the website, ojee.nic.in. The OJEE counselling process has started on June 20, 2025.

Candidates who qualify the OJEE exam will be eligible to participate in the OJEE counselling process. The qualifying candidates have to complete the OJEE counselling registration online once the registration window opens. The registration process for OJEE counselling comprises registration, choice filling & locking, seat allotment, and reporting to the nodal centre. The authority will release OJEE counselling 2025 schedule online. The registration window will be open for approximately a month and the students can lock their choices and get the document verification done after the final seat allotment process is complete.

Q:   Will the OJEE counselling be held offline as well?
A: 

The OJEE counselling process is online. Candidates have to register online by filling out the OJEE counselling form and paying the counselling fee. Once the students have registered for the counselling process, they can lock their choices as the choice-locking window opens. The OJEE exam authorities will first release a temporary seat allotment on the basis of on choices locked by the students and then release a merit list. They can check their seat allotment online and report to the nodal centre for admission fee payment and document verification. 

Q:   Which documents are required for OJEE counselling?
A: 

Candidates should report the counselling centre with original as well as copies of the following documents:

  1. OJEE Seat Allotment Letter
  2. Acknowledgement slip of admission fee
  3. Counselling registration slip
  4. OJEE rank card and result copy
  5. OJEE admit card
  6. OJEE application form
  7. Class 10, Class 12 or equivalent mark sheets
  8. Graduation degree mark sheet, provisional letter and character certificate
  9. Transfer Certificate
  10. Residence Certificate of Odisha (mandatory) from the concerned Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahsildar
  11. SC/ST Certificate by birth issued by the government of Odisha
  12. Income Certificate for TFW candidates for the financial year 2023-2024
  13. Green card issued by the Family Welfare Department, government. Of Odisha 
  14. Certificates/Documents in support of NRI
  15. Candidates under the EWS category have to produce an EWS Certificate from Tahsildar/ Additional Tahsildar

OJEE Counselling Process 2025

Candidates can participate in OJEE 2025 counselling as under:

Step 1: Registration

  • Candidates need to visit the official website and complete registration to participate in the counselling rounds
  • Fill in the application number, name, gender, and date of birth and submit the form
  • Then fill in the rest of the details in the OJEE counselling registration forms such as course, ranks, marks, documents for educational qualification, category, and family income certificate as well as bank details for fee payment
  • For MBA, MCA, MTech/MPlan/MArch and MPharm courses also select the entrance exam qualified i.e. OJEEGATEGPATNIMCETCATMATXATCMAT or ATMA
  • Once, all the details are filled in, a password will be generated for candidates' accounts and pay INR 450 as a counselling fee

Step 2: Choice Filling/Option locking

  • After fee payment, candidates can fill in choices from the list of participating colleges for their selected courses and specialisation
  • Candidates can add, edit, delete and change the order of preference from the list of colleges
  • After this, they can lock their choices by freezing and waiting for the seat allotment list, Candidates must note that once the choices have been locked they cannot be changed. 

Step 3: Announcement of Seat Allotment List

  • The counselling cell releases a seat allotment list for colleges available based on choice filled by candidates and a merit list/rank list
  • Candidates can save their seat allotment and visit the counselling centre if they want to secure a seat. If not, then they can skip this round and wait for the next seat allotment list as and when notified by the counselling cell

Step 4: Document Verification

  • For confirming their seat at the allotted college/s, candidates should provide documents of eligibility required for the course
  • They need to upload the original documents verified and submit a copy of all the documents online
  • Also, make part admission fee payment which is INR 10,000/- for the General category and INR 5,000/- for SC/ST/PC categories
  • After this, candidates are issued a final seat allotment letter with college name, course and other relevant information

Candidates also have an option of withdrawal after allotment within different rounds of counselling and the money will be refunded. This option will be activated only after paying the part admission fee. The candidates will be notified about the last date of withdrawal. The withdrawal after the last date will not be considered and the money deposited by the candidate will be forfeited. 

Step 5: Admission Confirmation

  • After document verification, candidates need to report to the allotted colleges and submit documents and pay the remaining admission fee after the final allotment round
  • In case, candidates do not report to the allotted colleges within the specified time, then their admission is cancelled
  • If candidates withdraw from allotted seats, they will not be eligible to participate in the next round of seat allotment and the remaining candidates opted for upgradation will be considered for upgradation

OJEE Web Counselling 2025: Documents and Drafts Required

Candidates must keep the following documents ready for OJEE web counselling 2025:

  • Allotted candidates have to deposit a part admission fee of INR 10,000 or INR 5,000, based on the category. The fee can be deposited online only through BILLDESK/SBI/HDFC PAYMENT GATEWAY. 
  • Candidates who did not register with OJEE earlier but want to be a part of the counselling process have to carry an additional draft of INR 1000
  • Candidates must carry the following certificates (original and photocopy):
    • OJEE 2025, JEE (Main) 2025, or NEET 2025 rank card or scorecard
    • Class 10 board certificate and mark sheet
    • Class 12 passing certificate and mark sheet
    • Residence certificate of Odisha (mandatory) from the concerned Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahsildar.
    • SC/ST certificate by birth issued by the government of Odisha
    • Income certificate for TFW candidates for the financial year 2022-2025
    • Candidates under the EWS category have to produce an EWS certificate from Tahsildar/ Additional Tahsildar  
    • Full-time work experience certificate of a minimum of two years in a registered firm in the relevant field in which admission is sought for admission to MTech (Part-Time) courses. The candidate has to submit a No Objection Certificate from the present employer for admission to the course at the time of document verification.

Q:   What is the float option in OJEE Counselling?
A: 
The float option in OJEE counseling means that an aspirant has accepted their allotted seat but wants a better programme. If a candidate chooses the float option, they will retain their current seat allotment but will be considered for higher preferences in the next round. They will lose their previously allotted seat only when they are allotted another seat from their other higher preferences.
The other options in OJEE counseling are "freeze" and "slide". "Freeze" means that the aspirant accepts their allotted seat and does not want to participate in subsequent counselling rounds. "Slide" means that the aspirant would like a better course within the allocated institute.
Q:   How can I get my OJEE scores retotaled?
A: 

If in case, students find any discrepancy in their OJEE results, they can get it reviewed by requesting OJEE Cell. For OJEE result rechecking, students will need to pay INR 500 as a fee. Candidates need to pay the fee in the form of a Demand Draft, drawn in favour of OJEE. It needs to be drawn from any nationalised bank, payable at Bhubaneswar and should reach the above address (within seven calendar days) as mentioned above. OJEE scorecard will only mention overall scores. However, those candidates who wish to know their sectional scores can also request the exam conducting authority for the same.

Note: OJEE Committee will only review the OJEE results, they will not re-evaluate the answer sheets of candidates.

OJEE 2025 Counselling Important Points To Remember

Candidates appearing for the OJEE 2025 counselling must take a look at the important points mentioned below:

  • Candidates must carry the OJEE 2025 scorecard with them during the OJEE counselling process.
  • Candidates holding a valid OJEE, ATMA, CAT, JEE Main, MAT, XAT, CMAT, NIMCET, GATE or GPAT score can only appear for the OJEE counselling process. Also, they must get the scores verified at JEE Cell, Gandamunda, Bhubaneswar-751030 in person.
  • JEE rank holders will be eligible to participate in the counselling process irrespective of their admission status.
  • Candidates claiming seats under any reserved category ST /SC /ES /PC /GC / Women/SGS/TFW) must be native of Odisha and must produce ‘RESIDENT/NATIVITY CERTIFICATE’. They must also produce a relevant certificate justifying the category at the time of document verification during counselling.
  • Ex-Serviceman quota seats will be available for admission to B.Tech first year, B.Arch, and B.Plan courses only. A native of the state of Odisha who is eligible to avail of this quota is advised to contact the Rajya Sainik Board for validation of their candidature with respect to their claim to be an Ex-Serviceman within the specified dates. 
  • Newly allotted candidates can download their allotment letter only after paying the fee and getting the documents verified.
