Special OJEE scorecard 2025 released online. Special OJEE exam 2025 was conducted in the computer-based test mode. The 2nd/Special OJEE was conducted for admission to various courses under OJEE. Read the article below to know more.

Special OJEE counselling registration 2025 will be held from July 28, 2025, to August 1, 2025. Special OJEE 2025 result was released on July 23, 2025. 2nd/Special OJEE was conducted on July 15, 2025, and July 16, 2025. The 2nd OJEE registration 2025 was held from June 13, 2025, to June 28, 2025. Earlier, the last date of 2nd OJEE registration was June 23, 2025. The OJEE application form correction window opened on June 29, 2025, till 11 PM. The Special OJEE registration date 2025 was released online after the OJEE result 2025 declaration. The Special OJEE exam date, time and admit card were released prior to the exam. Candidates were able to register online on the official website of OJEE- ojee.nic.in. The exam was conducted in the computer-based test mode. 

Special Odisha Joint Entrance Exam or Special OJEE is conducted by the OJEE Cell for students who wish to take admissions through OJEE but were not able to appear for the exam. Such students can apply through Special OJEE 2025. Special OJEE 2025 was conducted for admissions to BTech, LeTech (Diploma), LeTech (B.Sc), MBA, MCA, MTech, MPlan, MArch and MPharma courses under OJEE. Special OJEE is also called the 2nd OJEE. The 2nd/Special OJEE 2025 exam was conducted for admission to first-year courses in all private and government colleges in Odisha against the vacant seats left after the first round of counselling of OJEE and students belonging to states other than Odisha are not eligible for admission to government colleges, however, can opt for private colleges. Students who hold a rank in OJEE or JEE Main, do not have to appear for Special OJEE. Special OJEE 2025 application forms were available online. OJEE Counselling 2025

Candidates can sit for OJEE counselling for the final seat allotment after the result declaration. The counselling takes place online and offline as well. After registering for the Special OJEE counselling, students will have to register online and then lock their choice. The counselling cell releases a seat allotment list for colleges available based on the choices filled by the candidates and the merit list.

Students who appear for the Special OJEE exam and will be awarded ranks must note that the ranking for this course starts from 1100001. 

Please Note: OJEE counselling 2025 will be held separately for different courses.

How to Fill Special OJEE Registration 2025?

Follow the steps mentioned below to know how to fill the Special OJEE application form 2025:

  • Visit the official website of OJEE
  • Click on the ‘2nd/Special OJEE Registration’ link on the web page
  • Click on the Fresh Candidates Registration button
  • You will be redirected to a new web page wherein you need to fill in details such as the name of the candidates, date of birth, email ID, mobile number, etc. and register by creating a password.
  • Next, submit the details and you will be given an application ID after confirmation
  • Login with your registered application number and password to fill out the application form 
  • Pay the application fee in online mode using Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking and wait for the fee status to be updated
  • After confirmation, submit the application form and get a printout of the same for future reference.

How to Download and Check Special OJEE Result 2025

Special OJEE result 2025 will likely be released in the second week of July 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download their Special OJEE rank card online. Follow the steps mentioned below to know how to download the Special OJEE rank card 2025:

  • Enter the application number and date of birth in the DD/MM/YYYY format

Q:   What is the float option in OJEE Counselling?
A:
The float option in OJEE counseling means that an aspirant has accepted their allotted seat but wants a better programme. If a candidate chooses the float option, they will retain their current seat allotment but will be considered for higher preferences in the next round. They will lose their previously allotted seat only when they are allotted another seat from their other higher preferences.
The other options in OJEE counseling are "freeze" and "slide". "Freeze" means that the aspirant accepts their allotted seat and does not want to participate in subsequent counselling rounds. "Slide" means that the aspirant would like a better course within the allocated institute.
Q:   Which documents are required for OJEE counselling?
A:

Candidates should report the counselling centre with original as well as copies of the following documents:

  1. OJEE Seat Allotment Letter
  2. Acknowledgement slip of admission fee
  3. Counselling registration slip
  4. OJEE rank card and result copy
  5. OJEE admit card
  6. OJEE application form
  7. Class 10, Class 12 or equivalent mark sheets
  8. Graduation degree mark sheet, provisional letter and character certificate
  9. Transfer Certificate
  10. Residence Certificate of Odisha (mandatory) from the concerned Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahsildar
  11. SC/ST Certificate by birth issued by the government of Odisha
  12. Income Certificate for TFW candidates for the financial year 2023-2024
  13. Green card issued by the Family Welfare Department, government. Of Odisha 
  14. Certificates/Documents in support of NRI
  15. Candidates under the EWS category have to produce an EWS Certificate from Tahsildar/ Additional Tahsildar
  16. All women candidates have to submit a Resident/Nativity Certificate from the concerned Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahsildar in order to claim the women quota The document verification for the allotted candidates will happen at the Nodal Centre, OJEE Cell at Gandamunda, Bhubaneswar only.
Q:   Am I eligible for OJEE counselling based on my JEE Mains marks and rank? I have not appeared for Orissa JEE.
A:
Yes, all the JEE Main rank holders are eligible to take part in the OJEE counselling process for admission to the engineering programmes offered by colleges accepting OJEE scores. Even if the candidates have not appeared for the OJEE exam, they can get admission to various colleges based on their JEE Main scores. Candidates who wish to participate in BAMS/BHMS counselling must have qualified in NEET (UG) with a valid rank. Candidates must get the scores verified at JEE Cell, Gandamunda, Bhubaneswar-751030 in person who are taking a part in the OJEE counselling through JEE Mains or other qualifying entrance exams. JEE rank holders will be eligible to participate in the counselling process irrespective of their admission status.

Instructions Regarding Special OJEE 2025

Mentioned below are some important instructions regarding Special OJEE 2025:

  • Special OJEE 2025 will be conducted in the computer-based test mode in the English medium.
  • Special OJEE will be conducted for admissions to BTech, Le-Tech (Diploma), Le- Tech (BSc), MBA, MCA and MPharma courses under OJEE.
  • Three new courses, MTech, MPlan and MArch have also been added for admission through Special OJEE. 
  • The second/Special OJEE 2025 exam will be conducted for admission to first-year courses in all private and government colleges in Odisha for the vacant seats left after the first round of OJEE counselling.
  • Candidates belonging to states other than Odisha are not eligible for admission to government colleges. They can opt for private colleges. 
  • Students holding a rank or have appeared for JEE Main 2025 or OJEE 2025 do not have to appear for the Special OJEE exam.
  • Candidates should reach the exam centre at least an hour before the exam. They should carry the OJEE admit cards.
  • Candidates cannot leave before the exam has ended. 
  • Candidates should not carry any electronic gadgets, books, study material, etc. to the exam centre. 
  • The exam will have MCQ questions. Each question will carry four marks. One mark will be deducted in case of incorrect answer.

Follow the steps mentioned below to know how to download the Special OJEE admit card 2025:

  • Visit the official website of OJEE
  • Click on the '2nd/Special OJEE admit card' link on the homepage
  • Enter the application number and date of birth in the DD/MM/YYYY format
  • Enter the captcha code 
  • Now, click login. 
  • The Special OJEE admit card will be displayed on the screen which can be downloaded
  • Click on the download button and take a coloured printout of the admit card.

If candidates are not able to download their admit card (who have successfully submitted their applications before the last date), then they can visit https://odishajee.com/centre4/ and enter their application number and directly check their exam centre and other details.

Q:   Can I get admission in an engineering college in Odisha through OJEE counselling based on JEE Mains rank?
A:
The Odisha Cell will conduct the OJEE counselling for JEE Main rank holders and OJEE-qualified aspirants. The OJEE counselling dates will be available on the official website of Odisha JEE. Interested candidates will be required to complete the OJEE counselling registration process within the deadline. Based on JEE Mains rank you can always get any college in any state of your choice. However, giving the state joint entrance examination gives you a higher percentage of chances of seats in the colleges of your state. Candidates belonging to the state of Odisha will be eligible to take admission to the government colleges in the state, and non-native students are eligible to take admission to private colleges and institutes. The following government colleges of Odisha are accepting the JEE Mains scores. 1. International Institute of Information Technology, Bhubaneswar 2. Odisha University of Technology and Research 3. National Institute of Technology, Rourkela 4. Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla 5. Parala Maharaj Engineering College, Berhampur 6. National Institute of Science and Technology, Brahmapur 7. Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology 8. Government College of Engineering.
Q:   Will the OJEE counselling be held offline as well?
A:

The OJEE counselling process is online. Candidates have to register online by filling out the OJEE counselling form and paying the counselling fee. Once the students have registered for the counselling process, they can lock their choices as the choice-locking window opens. The OJEE exam authorities will first release a temporary seat allotment on the basis of on choices locked by the students and then release a merit list. They can check their seat allotment online and report to the nodal centre for admission fee payment and document verification. 

Q:   Will OJEE scores be accepted for Odisha NEET Counselling?
A:

No, admissions to medical, dental, AYUSH and allied courses in Odisha are done on the basis of NEET scores only. Scores of OJEE or the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) will not be considered for medical or allied course admission. Hence, candidates seeking admission to medical and allied courses in the state of Odisha must have appeared, or plan to appear for NEET and qualify for the exam as well. Admission to Odisha NEET counselling will be done for 85 per cent state quota seats and is conducted by OJEE Counselling Committee.
