SNAP Mock Test Instructions
SNAP official mock test is a time bound online test. To be able to attempt the mock test in the best possible way, candidates must understand the SNAP exam mock test navigation instructions given below:
- SNAP mock test will start only as per the time given. The login time will be before the test commencement time.
- The SNAP mock test will begin only after clicking on the 'Start Exam' button.
- Only one question will be displayed at a time. To move to the next/previous question, candidates will have to click on "Next"/"Previous" button.
- To go to the specific question, candidates will have to enter question number in "GO TO" box and click on "GO".
- It is not mandatory to solve all the questions in the SNAP mock test. Candidates can choose to solve questions as per their preference.
- If a candidate wishes to keep a question that they have attempted for review, they can choose ‘Bookmark’ option and review the question later (before submitting the test).
- The status of questions (Attempted, Not attempted, Attempted and bookmarked, Not Attempted and bookmarked) will be displayed on the left-hand of the screen.

Every candidate can make three attempts in SNAP exam. The SNAP exam is conducted in three sessions in a gap of one or two weeks. As per the latest SNAP exam pattern, the question paper comprises three sections – General English, Analytical & Logical Reasoning and Quantitative-Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency. The total number of questions in SNAP is 60 which is to be solved in 60 minutes. The General Awareness section was scrapped in 2020. Sectional break up is as follows:
- General English: 15 questions
- Analytical & Logical Reasoning: 25 questions
- Quantitative-Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency: 20 questions
The marking scheme of all three sections is same. One mark is awarded for correct attempt and 0.25 marks is deducted for incorrect attempt. It is not mandatory to solve all the questions in SNAP. Candidates can solve 75 percent of the questions accurately to expect a 98-99 percentile.
It is preferable to submit SNAP application form in online mode only. Candidates must fill the online application form at the SNAP Test website before the deadline. The online application process for SNAP includes creating a login account at SNAP website, filling the application form and payment of fees. However, there is provision to submit the SNAP application form offline by post. You can mail the duly filled application form to the SNAP office with a demand draft of the requisite fees.
