National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted AIAPGET (All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test) on August 22, 2026, in online mode. AIAPGET 2026 is conducted in CBT (Computer-Based Test) format. The exam was held in two shifts. The first exam shift was held for Ayurveda from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon; on the other hand, the second exam shift will take place for Homoeopathy, Siddha, and Unani from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Yes. Candidates need to prepare whole syllabus for AIAPGET exam comprising topics and subjects studied for BAMS and BHMS at undergraduate level. In addition, candidates also need to prepare chapters which were taught for BSMS and BYMS. Syllabus for AIAPGET exam is released by National Testing Agency with the official information brochure. Candidates are advised to check the syllabus first and prepare study plan accordingly.

The AIAPGET 2026 exam will consist of a total of 120 MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) carrying a total of 480 marks. Candidates must note that there will be a negative marking of -1 for every incorrect answer. Also, +4 marks will be awarded for every correct response; no marks will be awarded and deducted for the unattempted questions by the candidates. Candidates must go through the AIAPGET previous years' question papers to understand the examination pattern. Candidates will be provided 2 hours to complete the exam.

AIAPGET 2026 Good Attempt Questions:
The candidates must attain the minimum passing criteria i.e. 50 per cent in the AIAPGET 2026 exam. Candidates have to achieve at least 65 to 70 per cent in the exam to be eligible for a desirable course and institute. Candidates are advised to prepare strategically. All the Best.

No. Qualifying the examination only makes a candidate eligible for counselling. Admission depends on factors such as AIAPGET rank, category, choice of course and college, seat availability and the counselling round.

No. AIAPGET serves as the common entrance examination for admission to PG ASU & H courses for the 2026-27 academic session. AYUSH colleges and universities do not conduct a separate entrance examination for these courses.
