How many test cities can I choose for OJEE exam?

Candidates can choose upto three OJEE test cities according to their preference. Candidates must very carefully select the cities as once the OJEE application form is submitted, they can't change city preference. They should choose the first city of preference as their hometome or where they are residing as the exam authorities will likely allot the test centres to candidates in their first city of preference. Candidates are allotted a test centre in second or third preference only if the seats have been filled or the exam centre has been cancelled at that location. Candidates should know that the OJEE test cities cannot be changed once the form is submitted even during the form correction window.

What should I do if the examination center allotted to me for OJEE is far from my location?

Once the OJEE examination center is allocated, it is usually final. Hence, if the OJEE exam centre that has been alloted to you if far from the your current location then, plan your journey in advance. Research the location and calculate the estimated travel time and plan to arrive at the center well before the reporting time. Choose a reliable mode of transport to travel to the location and look out for an accomodation in advance if necessary.

What are the don'ts of the OJEE exam day?

Do not arrive late to OJEE exam centre. Do not forget to carry coloured printouts of OJEE admit card. Do not carry prohibited items including electronic devices, study material, bags, to exam centre Do not engage in malpractice

Can I give the OJEE exam offline?

No, the OJEE exam cannot be given remotely. Every year the OJEE exam is conducted in the computer-based test mode. In 2021, the exam was however conducted in the remote protored test mode because of the coronavirus pandemic. Ever since, the OJEE exam has always been conducted in the computer-based test mode (CBT). To take the exam, candidates have to visit the OJEE exam centre and take the exam online. They can choose upto three preferred OJEE test cities during the OJEE exam registration. Candidates must reach the test centre at least an hour before the commencement of the exam in order to avoid any hassle on the exam and complete the frisking formalities at the exam GATE smoothly.

An identification process will be conducted at every OJEE exam centre, hence candidates must make sure that they reach the exam centre at least an hour and a half before the exam starts along with their OJEE admit card and a photo identity proof. Dos

Candidates must carry a printed OJEE admit card to the exam centre as it is a very important document without which candidates cannot enter the exam hall.
Digital or soft copies of the OJEE admit card will not be accepted.
Candidates must carry a photo ID proof (original and photocopy) such as Voter ID, Driving License, Aadhar Card, Passport, Ration Card, etc. and two recent passport size coloured photographs for identification purposes.
Candidates must cooperate with the exam staff in the identification and frisking at the exam centre.

Don’ts

Do not carry any electronic gadgets to the exam centre such as mobile, laptops, calculators, etc.
The exam centre gates will close 15 minutes prior to the exam and no one will be allowed to enter the exam hall. Hence, candidates must not reach late.
Candidates must not carry any eatables or drinks inside the exam centre. They are prohibited inside the exam hall.
Candidates must also not carry any stationery to the exam centre, as the exam will be conducted in a Computer-based test mode (CBT).

Following documents are required on OJEE exam day:

Q: Till when can I download the OJEE admit card?

OJEE admit card can only be downloaded till the OJEE exam day. The OJEE hall ticket will be released on the pre decided date and students will require their login credentials to log in to the candidate portal and download the admit card. The OJEE admit card is a mandatory document which is to be carried to the OJEE test centre in order to take entry in the exam hall. However, candidates are suggested to download the admit cards at least two days before the exam day.
