GPAT Exam Analysis 2023

GPAT exam analysis is released after the exam concludes. The GPAT 2023 Day 1 Shift 1 exam concluded on May 22, at 12:00 PM. The first slot/shift of GPAT 2023 began at 9:00 AM and the reporting time was 8:00 AM. There were no technical glitches reported at the centres. NTA conducted the forenoon shift of GPAT 2023 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Candidates can download the unofficial GPAT answer key through the direct link provided below. GPAT exam is a national-level entrance exam that grants admission to the Master’s of Pharmacy programme in 800+ affiliated institutes in India. GPAT 2023 Initial Student Reaction

The GPAT 2023 exam for the first slot has concluded and here is the initial student reaction: 

  1. GPAT Exam difficulty level is easy to moderate for the exam conducted in the morning slot
  2. GPAT Cutoff is expected to go higher this year as the exam was easy to attempt
  3. Questions from Pharmaceutical Chemistry were the most difficult to attempt
  4. Pharmaceutics and Pharmacognosy were easy sections
  5. Questions based on reaction and its processes were difficult in understanding and time consuming
  6. Chemistry had the maximum weightage in the exam
  7. Questions based on HLB value were difficult and analytical based. 

GPAT Exam Pattern Analysis: No change in the GPAT exam pattern was reported this year. The question paper was based on the guidelines issued by NTA. there were no end-moment surprises for the candidates.

It is mandatory to fill the GPAT application form for admission to MPharm courses. The NBEMS invites online applications for the GPAT examination. Candidates who register online are eligible to take the exam.
