GPAT Answer Key 2026: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has released the final answer key of the GPAT 2026. The NBEMS GPAT 2026 final answer key has been displayed on the official website- natboard.edu.in. Earlier, the GPAT provisional answer key 2026 was released on March 13, 2026. The answer key was released along with the GPAT response sheet 2026, question papers and objection link. Candidates could challenge the answer key from March 13 to 16, 2026, with a non-refundable fee of INR 200 per question. The GPAT exam was held on March 7, 2026.

How to Download GPAT 2026 Answer Key?
The GPAT final answer key 2026 is now available at natboard.edu.in. Students need to refer to the process mentioned below to check and download the GPAT 2026 answer key:
- Visit the website of NBE GPAT – natboard.edu.in
- Click on the application link.
- Go to the GPAT login window.
- Log in with the User ID and Password.
- Enter the Security Pin.
- Click on the answer key link.
- Download the final answer key.

It may be noted here that the GPAT result 2026 was released based on the final answer key. According to the result notice, 7 questions asked in GPAT 2026 were found to be incorrect. Hence, full marks have been awarded to all test takers, whether they have attempted these questions or not.

Candidates could raise the GPAT answer key objections using the process shared below-

Visit the NBE-GPAT website - natboard.edu.in.
- Click on the application link.
- Login through the user ID and password.

Click on ‘View Question Paper’ for marked responses, and to view or challenge the Answer keys, go to the ‘Click to view /Challenge Answer Key’ link.

The ID next to the question under the column Correct Option(s) stands for the correct Answer Key to be used by NBE. The Dropped Questions are highlighted and not for the challenge.

To challenge the option, you may use any one or more of the Option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking the check box.

After clicking your desired option, scroll down, save your claim and move to the next screen.

Applicants will see a display of all the Option IDs challenged by them.

Upload supporting documents in a single PDF file.

Click on ‘Save your Claims and pay the fee’.

After saving the claims, you will find a screen displaying your challenges.

After the payment of the fee, the challenges will be saved.
The GPAT answer key objections are reviewed by an expert panel, and then the final answer keys are released by NBE.

Candidates can calculate the GPAT scores 2026 expected in the exam using the official answer key through the process shared below-
- Tally the answers marked in GPAT response sheet with official answer key.
- Mark yourself +4 for each correct answer and -1 for each incorrect answer.
- Add up the scores and you will get the expected raw scores in GPAT exam.

Candidates are advised to read the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) regarding the GPAT exam here:
After releasing the GPAT answer key (provisional), candidates will be provided a time frame to challenge the answer key. In case the challenges are valid and correct, they will be accepted and published in the final answer key. In case the challenge is invalid or incorrect, it will be rejected and no challenge fee will be refunded. Later, along with the GPAT result, the final answer key will be released at the NTA-GPAT website.
National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) released the official GPAT 2025 answer key a month after the conclusion of the exam.
At first authorties released the GPAT provisional answer key on June 29, 2025. Candidates were allowed to challenge the GPAT answer key for a duration of three days. The final GPAT answer key was released after that with the GPAT result in online mode on the official website.
The memory-based GPAT answer keys are released mainly by coaching institutes. Since the GPAT exam is conducted in online mode only. After the conclusion of the exam, coaching institutes solve questions discussed by various students. Since this GPAT memory-based answer key will be released by taking input from the students, hence there can be some error or mistakes in the questions and answers provided.
The NBEMS will release a provisional and a final answer key. After receiving the responses from the students for the provisional answer key, the final answer key will be released. The GPAT final answer key will be released by the NBEMS in a PDF file format. Students can telly their recorded response sheet using it. The GPAT answer key helps maintain transparency in the process of evaluation.
