GITAM GAT 2026 Dates: Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) has released the GITAM GAT 2026 dates. The GAT 2026 application form for the upcoming exam phase is also available until April 16, and the exam will be held on April 19.
Please note that the GITAM GAT exam is held in phases, and the dates for all phases will be updated on this page as and when released on the official GITAM website.

GITM GAT 2026 Registration Dates
The official link for GITAM GAT 2026 registration is now available online at gitam.edu. To be registered for exam, candidates have to fill and submit application for before last date. During application, they will have to register, fill details, upload documents and pay fee. After final date, no applications will be accepted.
Candidates have to pay the GITAM application fee before the last date of registration. Application fee of GITAM registration process can be paid online only using credit card/debit card/net banking/UPI. Candidates have to review the following groups. Note that candidates may apply for one or more programs within the same group using a single application.

The GITAM GAT scholarship policies are as follows:
- For the scholarships offered through various National and State Entrance Tests, the students are required to apply for GITAM Admission Test (GAT) and must attend the counseling for admission as per the schedule.
- If a student is eligible for a scholarship under more than one category through GAT, National, and State Entrance Tests, then he/she will be awarded the highest percent of the scholarship.
- The scholarship offered through GAT, National and State Entrance Tests is applicable for the First Year only. The same scholarship will be continued in the subsequent years of study subject to scoring a CGPA of 8.0 and above.
- The children of GITAM employees admitted in full-time programmes are further eligible to avail only 25% of Merit Scholarship through GAT, National and State Entrance Tests.
- The students admitted through GAT Scholarship Scheme are further eligible for Alumni returning to Higher Education, Alumni Children, Sibling Scholarship, and Retired Employee Children scholarship.

Yes, it is mandatory to produce any one of the authorised photo identity cards along with the GITAM GAT admit card to the invigilator for verification. GITAM GAT admit card, aspirants are required to produce an ID card (Passport / Driving License / EC voter ID card / IT PAN card / School or College ID card with photo / Aadhar Card) for personal identification proof for the examination.
Yes. GITAM accepts scores of JEE, TS EAMCET, or Andhra Pradesh EAMCET. The candidates who do not have scores of these exams can apply via GITAM GAT exam scores.
In GITAM GAT BTech entrance exam, a total of 100 questions are asked of 200 marks. 30 questins are asked from maths, 20 each from Physics, Chemistry, and Quantitative Aptitude & Analytical Reasoning, and 10 questions from english. The CBT exam will be held in 2 hours and MCQs will be assked. Each correct answer wll have 2 marks and no negative marking is doen for wrong attempts.
The stream in which the courses are offered by the GITAM School of Technology Visakhapatnam. Moreover, at undergraduate level, it provides a four-year B.Tech course to its students. At the PG level, the institute offers a two-year M.Tech course. Additionally, GITAM School of Technology Visakhapatnam also offers three-year full-time and four-year part-time Ph.D. courses to the students. B.Tech is offered in 13 specialisations and M.Tech in nine specialisations.

To prepare for the GITAM admission test - GITAM GAT, please refer to both. 90 to 95% of entrance/foundation concepts are covered in the NCERT.
