GPAT 2025 counselling is over now. Students must note that the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) do not conduct GPAT counselling. It was conducted by the participating colleges and institutes. Applicants should note that NBEMS does not release the GPAT 2025 cutoff and merit list; instead, individual institutes are responsible for releasing this information.
The NBEMS released the GPAT counselling 2025 dates after the declaration of the results. This year GPAT 2025 exam was conducted on May 25, 2025. After the conclusion of the exam, the authorities declared the GPAT 2025 results on June 25, 2025. NBE issued guidelines to the participating colleges and institutes to use scores obtained by the students for allotment of seats in the AICTE-approved programs, along with the other criteria that may exist, as applicable. Admission authorities and institutions, however, will be free to make their own decision at the time of admission about what weightage they wish to give to a particular section.

GPAT Counselling 2025
Candidates will have to represent their original GPAT 2025 scorecard, and the qualified candidates have to produce certain documents to ascertain their eligibility during the counseling. MPharma has various specialisations, and candidates have to choose one according to their interests. Though different colleges offer and institutes offer different specialisations, however, there are some traditional subjects available in almost all the AICTE-approved colleges. A few of the specialisations are:
- MPharma in Industrial Pharmacy
- MPharma in Pharmaceutics (Drug Regulatory Affairs)
- MPharma in Pharmaceutical Chemistry
- MPharma in Pharmacognosy
- MPharma in Pharmacology
Seats in the desirable college and the desirable specialisation are subject to availability and are allotted on a first come first serve basis depending upon the score and marks obtained by the candidate.

Documents Required at the time of GPAT Counselling 2025
List of important documents the candidate has to produce during the GPAT counselling
- Original copy of the counselling letter
- Original copy of the GPAT 2025 admit card
- GPAT 2025 scorecard
- Original copy of 10 class mark sheet
- Original copy of 12 class mark sheet
- Original or the provisional copy of the Graduation certificate

As the colleges and the institutes are going to conduct the GPAT 2025 counselling separately, the counselling dates may differ depending on the institute and the candidate’s rank.
GPAT 2025 counselling dates may differ for different ranks of students. Accordingly, candidates must report to the venue of GPAT counselling 2025 on the correct date and time with the required documents. The documents will be required for verification purposes.
Counselling of GPAT 2025 will be conducted in four stages:
Verification of Documents
- The participating institutes and colleges will release the GPAT 2025 counselling dates separately, and candidates are advised to keep a check on the dates as per their ranks.
- Candidates have to report to the particular college or institute with the required documents
- The counselling authority will not ask the candidates to submit the original copies of the documents, as they will be required only for verification purposes
Web Options Entry
- Candidates have to click on the ‘Web Options Entry’ portal on the official website of GPAT
- NBEMS will publish a list of the participating institutes and colleges
- Candidates have to choose and submit the names of all the preferred institutes as many as they want to.
- Candidates are advised to review the choices carefully and have to ‘Save’ and ‘Lock’ the chosen preferences. After saving the preferences, the candidates will not be able to alter their chosen preferences.
- Candidates can take a printout of the list of chosen colleges or institutes for future reference
Seat Allotment
- The allotment of seats will be based on the merit list and candidates’ scores.
- The GPAT 2025 seat allotment order can be downloaded from the official website
Reporting to the Institute
- Once the allotment process is complete, candidates must reach the allotted institute with the required documents.
- The admission fee (as per the fee structure of each institute) must be paid to conclude the admission process.

NBEMS the official exam conducting body is the responsible authority to release the GPAT cutoff at the official website. The GPAT cutoff will also be released by the participating institutes that accept GPAT scores. NBEMS doesn't conduct the counselling for M.Pharma admissions. It will be responsible for releasing the merit list of GPAT 2025 along with the result mentioning the status of qualifying, name of candidates. Once the GPAT cutoff is announced by individual colleges/institutes, candidates can check the cutoff score on their individual websites to seek admission in the preferred course and college.
