Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test 2025 ( GPAT )
GPAT 2025 counselling schedule will be released by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). The authorities have not released the GPAT counselling 2025 schedule yet; it will be updated on the page once it is out. Students must note that NBEMS will not conduct GPAT counselling; rather, it will be conducted by the participating colleges and institutes. Applicants should note that NBEMS does not release the GPAT 2025 cutoff and merit list; instead, individual institutes are responsible for releasing this information.
The NBEMS will release the GPAT counselling 2025 dates after the declaration of the result. This year GPAT 2025 exam was conducted on May 25, 2025. After the conclusion of the exam, the authorities declared the GPAT 2025 results on June 25, 2025.
NBE has already issued guidelines to the participating colleges and institutes to use scores obtained by the students for allotment of seats in the AICTE-approved programs, along with the other criteria that may exist, as applicable. Admission authorities and institutions, however, will be free to make their own decision at the time of admission about what weightage they wish to give to a particular section.
The GPAT 2025 counselling has been concluded now. NBE released the GPAT results on June 25, 2025, for this academic year. The GPAT counselling process 2025 was conducted for all the applicants who passed the exam. The counselling schedule is shared by individual colleges/institutes on their respective colleges. Candidates can read the MPharma counselling process on the official websites of respective institutes.
Candidates who qualify the GPAT cutoff score released by the colleges for various specialisations were eligible to participate in GPAT counselling process. The GPAT participating colleges and the GPAT accepting institutes conduct the GPAT counselling for students seeking admission to MPharma programme on an individual basis. GPAT Counselling 2025
Candidates will have to represent their original GPAT 2025 scorecard, and the qualified candidates have to produce certain documents to ascertain their eligibility during the counseling. MPharma has various specialisations, and candidates have to choose one according to their interests. Though different colleges offer and institutes offer different specialisations, however, there are some traditional subjects available in almost all the AICTE-approved colleges. As the colleges and the institutes are going to conduct the GPAT 2025 counselling separately, hence the counselling dates may differ depending upon the institute and the candidate’s rank.

Web Options Entry
- Candidates have to click on the ‘Web Options Entry’ portal on the official website of GPAT
- NBEMS will publish a list of the participating institutes and colleges
- Candidates have to choose and submit the names of all the preferred institutes as many as they want to.
- Candidates are advised to review the choices carefully and have to ‘Save’ and ‘Lock’ the chosen preferences. After saving the preferences, the candidates will not be able to alter their chosen preferences.
- Candidates can take a printout of the list of chosen colleges or institutes for future reference
Seat Allotment
- The allotment of seats will be based on the merit list and candidates’ scores.
- The GPAT 2025 seat allotment order can be downloaded from the official website
Reporting to the Institute
- Once the allotment process is complete, candidates must reach the allotted institute with the required documents.
- The admission fee (as per the fee structure of each institute) must be paid to conclude the admission process.

Yes, students can get scholarship based on their GPAT score under Pradhan Mantri Scholarship for Pharmacy Post Graduate Studies offered by PCI. The scholarship is offered to MPharm student who have qualified GPAT. A scholarship of INR 12,400 per month is offered to selected students for 24 months.
