Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will display the CTET Certificate 2025 on the DigiLocker platform along with the marksheets. The certificates and marksheets of the CTET exam are made available on DigiLocker. The CBSE displays the certificate and marksheets digitally after the CTET result 2025 declaration. Candidates who appear for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2025 and clear the exam can get their marksheets and certificates from the DigiLocker App. Candidates are awarded the CTET certificate with lifetime validity. 

Candidates can download their CTET mark sheets and certificates using their login credentials. The DigiLocker login details are provided by the CBSE to qualified candidates on their registered mobile numbers. The CTET certificate 2025 is issued to candidates who clear the exam by obtaining the minimum qualifying marks. The CTET certificate holds lifetime validity for all category candidates. The CTET eligibility certificate is valid for life from the date of issue. Moreover, there is no restriction on the number of attempts in the CTET exam. Even after acquiring the Digilocker CTET certificate 2025, candidates may appear again for the exam to improve their scores.

How to download CTET Certificate & Marksheet 2025 on DigiLocker?

We have shared below the step-by-step process to help candidates download their certificate and marksheet from DigiLocker. Have a look:

Step 1: Visit the website digilocker.gov.in or download the DigiLocker app from the app store 

Step 2: Log in to the DigiLocker account using the username and password sent by the CBSE to your registered mobile number. If you are using the platform for the first time, your username will be your registered mobile number, and your password will be your mother’s name (in lower case) and the last four digits of your roll number. Also, if you have not received any SMS from the CBSE, you can still get your documents by signing up on the DigiLocker using your Aadhaar number.

Step 3: After successfully logging in, navigate and click on the ‘Issued Documents’ tab. Under this tab, you will get to see the CTET marksheet, certificate or other documents.

A:

Candidates can check the CTET exam city and date by downloading their pre-admit cards. The CBSE releases the CTET pre-admit card around 10 days before the exam. Candidates can access the CTET pre-admit card or exam city intimation slip by entering their application number and date of birth when it becomes available on the portal. On the other hand, the CTET admit card is released two days before the exam on the official website of the exam - ctet.nic.in informing the candidates about the allotted exam centre.

  • The CTET marksheets and certificates are digitally signed and are legally valid as per the IT Act.
  • The CTET certificates and marksheets contain an encrypted QR Code to enhance security. This QR code can be scanned and verified using the DigiLocker mobile app.
  • The DigiLocker accounts of all candidates appearing for the CTET exam are created, and the account credentials are conveyed to the candidates on their registered mobile numbers.

Applicability of CTET 2025

The CTET scores are given weight in the recruitment process. However, merely qualifying the CTET exam does not confer a right on any person for recruitment or employment, as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment. After qualifying for the CTET exam, candidates can apply for teacher recruitment in the following types of schools:

  • Schools affiliated under the Central Government- KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.
  • Schools under the administrative control of Union Territories such as Delhi, Chandigarh, Daman & Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep.
  • Private schools that consider and require CTET qualification.
  • Schools owned by State Governments and local bodies.

Q. Is CTET 2025 certificate available on DigiLocker?

A. No, the CTET 2025 certificate is not available on the DigiLocker platform. The CTET certificate and marksheet 2025 will be available on the DigiLocket app and platform soon. Candidates can get their DigiLocket CTET certificate 2025 using the credentials sent to them by the CBSE on their registered mobile numbers.

A. Candidates can get their CTET certificate online using the DigiLocker platform. Q. Who is awarded the CTET Certificate?

A. Aspirants who secure a minimum of 60 per cent aggregate marks in the CTET exam (55 per cent for reserved categories) are issued the CTET eligibility Certificate. Candidates can download their CTET Certificate by logging into their DigiLocker account. Credentials to log in to the DigiLocker accounts are shared by CBSE on candidates' registered mobile numbers after the CTET results.

Q. Is CTET valid for lifetime?

A. The CTET exam is valid for life. Until 2021, the CTET eligibility Certificate was valid for a period of seven years starting from the date of declaration of result. However, in June 2021, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and CBSE as well officially extended the CTET passing Certificate validity to lifetime. However, candidates need to fulfil the age limit criteria fixed by the respective teacher recruiting body such as NVS, KVS or others. Therefore, candidates can apply for the teaching jobs after qualifying the Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET however, they must fall within the age limit defined by the respective agency.

Q. Will I get the job after clearing the CTET exam?

A. Qualifying CTET exam does not guarantee a job to a candidate. It is only one of the eligibility criteria for teacher appointment. Candidates need to appear for the recruitment process of schools such as KVS, NVS and others to get a teaching job. The school managements consider the CTET scores in the teacher recruitment process.
