The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 exam will be conducted on July 7, 2024, by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The CTET exam 2024 will be conducted offline in pen and paper mode in 20 languages. The CTET syllabus is prescribed by the CBSE for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The CTET Paper 1 and Paper 2 syllabus includes topics from all the sections or subjects. Q:   Is 120 a good score in CTET?
A:

Yes, scoring 120 marks in the CTET exam is a good score. The CBSE has fixed the minimum qualifying marks for the CTET exam. The CTET passing marks for General category candidates are 90 and for SC/ ST/ OBC are 82. Candidates who obtain more than 100 marks in the CTET exam are considered as good scorers. So, 120 is a good CTET score. The CTET exam carries a total 150 marks.

Q:   Is coaching necessary for the CTET exam?
A:

No, coaching is not necessary for the CTET exam. Candidates can prepare well through self studies. One needs to cover the syllabus, solve previous year question papers and mock tests to clear the exam.

Q:   Is NCERT enough for the CTET exam preparation?
A:
Though NCERT books are good for understanding the basic concepts of the CTET syllabus, there are other best books available for CTET exam preparation as well.
